Totally true eh they just want more money from us! How ironic that they want to make the streets safer for us, but its actually getting more dangerous by putting these static speed cam... So when does the trial end? im just hoping it still under the trial so i dont get fined... and hopefully after the trial and few accidents they'll take them off... maan, i havent even paid my last bill from the mobile speed cam .. shouldve get one of those radar detectors wil radar detectors pick up these static camera? anyone with radar detector has gone through the bell tower yet? what do they pick up anyway besides mobile speed cam? police cars?

Hi guys, i was driving back from uni last night, took the william street route off mounts bay road to get to the riverside dr.. Well heres the thing, i was driving 80ish going pass the bell tower, and suddenly f**k! the "yellow box" next to the red light camera flashes.. well it musnt be the red light camera because the light was green.. ive noticed the darn new box couple of times and was wondering what it is but never thought it was a speed cam... So, what is it, anyone has any idea of what it is? are they some sort of static speed cam? please tell me it isnt.. fingers crossed* bly

what sort off globes do u have? u still have to buy the kit to actually do it though, because im pretty sure they took the ballast off at compliance.. im trying to get the xenon too, been doing research for the last couple days and looks like it is not just a matter of plugging the bulbs and some rewiring to get it to the old system.. ie. we still have to get a HID kit, not just the globe.. theres a diy for it too on the tutorials and diy section anyway if u find an easier or cheaper way give us a heads up though.. bly

have u just had any of ur belts replaced? cause i had the same problems when i have my timing belt replaced, its making noise if i had her on idle or at low rpm, like parking... so i brought it back and have it retensioned and it is smooth as ever since my 2c bly

might sound stupid but, how do u disconnect the plug behind (the wire connection) the car lighter, there are two of them, one is bigger than the other... seems like it would not come off however from the picture above, obviously 2KR34 can took them it off.. i just dont want to break it because i use it for a lot of thing to charge my ipod, gps, and when i left my lighter.... basically half of my life depends on it.. pls help someone its for a 34 btw cheers bly

i was just wondering what about the "engine bay wash" at those kwik kleen DIY carwash in? anyone have tried that before, i was just thinking to clean it just a little not up to the std of showroom look? or should i just stick with a steam cleaner? how do u guys clean ur engine bay anyway?

well mine makes the whirring noise (timing belt) and make a squeal noise on every first start of the day (i thought it was the fan belt) but after i came back to have it re-tensioned, she works fine since then no whirring no squealing... so have it re tensioned...

can i get a quote on two random parts, 1. rear window washer 2. the rubber bits on the boot, one on each side (not sure what u call them) mine is so stuffed that the boot is not lining up properly

why should u stay away from the black one? id say because it has done 102500, hence the chances are the 100k service has not been done yet as a ball park figure, 34 gtt would set u back around 1500 bucks for 100k service... i bet it is more for a gtr... but black is the best look u could have... a bit biased cause mine is black my 2c anyway bly

oi guys, im really keen on joining but the 16th is my 1st exam and the week before i usually crammed for it too... so i dont think i can make it... + i dont have 500 dolars yet at least in this following week... heheh however u guys said that we cant finish 10 cars in a day rite? why dont we held another session in mid august, after my hols, over in my house, i mean my house is not big but it can fit 4 cars in total in garage + driveway,we need some working lights though... and there and empty lawn just in front my house, so u can use the drive way and curbs to fit another 3 and proley 2 on the side of the streets... my place is parents free but have no barbeque and esky, but we can use my fridge.... but ive never serviced my car before, so im definately need a hand and btw, no tools either.. help us i really need my car serviced, 15thousand k late...

hi guys i wanna share my train of thought.. i sawr a car club(not quite sure) but it consists of evo 7,8,9 only.. its kinda kewl really cause they all have the same car (well not the same really, i mean 7,8,9 evos do look alike)... anyway my point is, it looked fun, and it got me thinking, why dont we have a group or a club,well at least just some friends to hang out, that have only 34s (i know im being carsist here), but anyway WHOS f*kEN UP FOR IT? and may we have all the 34s seniors be with us, to get this thang going, amen! im gonna post this an idea for the next cruise, but proley in 2 months time... since im goin for a month holiday in 2 weeks time... bly
