I actually want to know how to check it. I dont know how to read the dip stick correctly

How do you check tranmission oil for skylines? With car on or off? In gear of out? Also, the dip stick says HOT on one side and COLD on the other. Does that mean the engine is HOT or COLD, or engine OFF or ON. Thanks

I think it is worthless getting a pager. A standard alarm with an immobilizer is good enough. If someone wants to break into your car, they are not going to take their sweet time. By the time you get there the damage would have been done, and the bastard(s) long gone. Its a waste of good money. Spend it on something better.

I got my badges stolen by a few punk kids. I asked around and offered a reward. The next thing i know i had about 10 people at my house asking me how much would i give them if they gave me the names of the kids. You obviously are not dealing with a bunch of kids, but money talks. If you think it is people from your neighbourhood, spread the word. I offered $200, but ended up giving them $20.

Where do i get them from. I dont think they are the real stock wheels that come with Skylines. They sort of have a blade look, with two types of metal. A shiney bit, and a dull bit. I have seen them on some skylines, but they dont look like the stock wheels that i have seen in the "For Sale" section. Anyone know what i am talking about?

It looks damaged. I dont really want to take the risk.

I damaged one of my stock wheels. The wheel guys said that they cant put it on because it is damaged a bit. But it still has a tire on it, and its been on for 4 months and hasnt gone flat at all yet. There is a little bend on the outer part of the rim. Can this be fixed? How much do you think? and where?

I wanted to change the oil, filters, etc. in my R33 GTS. I also thought about changing the plugs. I didnt know which ones to get, so i went to a few places and they told me i had to get Platinum plugs ($26 or so each). Is that true? Do i have to get Platinum plugs? Whats the difference between the Copper/Platinum/Iridium(or something like that) If anyone knows the product number of Copper plugs that i can use, please supply. Thanks in advance

What i do to people like that is speed up and move in front of them, then slow down to a nice speed, say 50 in an 80 zone. If he/she overtakes you, speed up again and do the same. When he/she starts to swear and give loving hand gestures. Just wave and smile politely. Works every time.

I heard copper plugs run better than platinum, but platinum last longer. Is that true?

I dont think the initial problem of sliding in the wet is due to braking. I mean i think every sensible driver knows to brake before hitting a corner. My problem is that the cars butt goes way out everytime i take a curb at 40 ks or so when it has just rained. My car is only a GTS (i cant afford to upgrade). I think i need better wheels, but dont want to spend money for nothing. I guess i just have to live with it until i win the lottery or something

I think all skylines are subject to slipping in the wet. I have almost had about 3 or 4 accidents when i first started driving the line. I dont think its the wheels. I did a little test with them. I took the wheels off my bros car, which is a V8 and put them on mine, and the car kept on sliding on tight curves at about 30 ks. I tried my brothers car and it stuck to the ground at about 45 ks.
