  2. Hey guys, just wondering if anybody knows the fines for having a BOV vented to atmosphere? Will the cops give me a defect and will i have to have the whole car checked or will they just issue me with a ticket ? Also, I have a GTR front bar and to have it mounted, the reo bar had to be cut, will they do me for this? And finally, I have a HKS mushroom filter(not covered in a box), intercooler, boost controller and apexi neo AFC, will I be done for any of those? Any help much appreciated

  4. hey guys I am looking for a front bar for s1 R33, I have the standard one on and i have a FMIC, I'm looking to get a bumper that allows more air to the FMIC . basically one which u can see the cooler through. I'm not sure where to get one any help would be appreciated. Im in brisbane. Thanks

  6. I had the same problem , seems with your mods you are sufferring from overfueling, you may need to look at the apexi neo or SAFC II to fix this up, or it could be your coilpacks. Apexi neo can be picked up for around 400 bucks and a dyno tune for it will set you back about 240.

  8. Hi I have a 95 series 1 R33 with FMIC HKS superflow pod and apexi neo piggyback SAFC/VAFC (not tuned yet) . I am having an electronic boost controller installed next week. with these mods and running standard boost it seems i am having some overfueling problems, seems to miss a little bit from 4500-5500rpm then takes off. That is what the apexi neo is for just have to have it tuned next week. There are a few questions I would like to ask: 1) Should I put in some splitfires, and do they make a noticable difference? Or do I just get NGK plugs and clean up my coils ( they seem fine) 2) should i get a decat, fuel pump , fuel reg, turbo elbow or downpipe ( dont know what these are for) . I cant get all this stuff at once but in which order should i get all these things. 3) Are there any reccommended dyno tuners in the brisbane area? Sorry I am new to all of this stuff. 4) the car seems to be lagging a bit since i put the FMIC in at standard boost, will this be improved when i install the electronic boost controller, I have been told that you can safely boost at 12 pounds with FMIC? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks alot Patrick

  10. Hi , I have 33 with FMIC exhaust , hks pod, apexi neo AFC and putting in a Electronic boost controller . I was wondering where i can take it for dyno tuning in and around the brisbane area and does anyone have an idea of how much it will cost?

  12. I have a 33 with fmic and hks pod filter, I seemed to be having slight overfueling problems between 4500-5500 rpm ( it would splutter) and then take off around 6000 rpm. Last night I gradually accelerated to the splutter point and held it there to see if it would improve just for a second and ther was a ppppeeeewwww sound: now the car wont idle, it only starts if you put the accelerator flat down: and it barely drives, as you let the clutch out it just seemes to cut out and hop down the road. as soon as any power is put on it cuts out. It's a little like when the air flow meter is not plugged in, only worse, it wont even idle. Can anyone help me with what it might be, either blown air meter or maybe a pipe has popped off somewhere( had a look and couldnt see anything wrong) . also the BOV doesnt go off either when revved. Hope its not serious, any help would be great. Thanks Patrick
