f**k i hope the gtr doesnt turn into an overhyped import like the old ones. they are amazing cars but most people i know when i tell them i have a skyline think it is some godly car that can get 1000 hp with a new comp regardless though i cant wait to see them in canada?

thats exactly what my car is doing right now it did it when i had my old 2 litre in it and i swapped in a neo and it still does it the only things that are the same are the fuel pump,which i changed,the boost controller which i am changing tomorrow,and the maf. so my guess is that the boost controller or the afm is not working properly,because it only happens under boost. so try checking the boost controller and the maf i will update if this thread when i figure the problem out,but i am fairly certain it is my old shitty manual boost controller sticking. cheers!

wellllllll if u dont know its always good to ask. is the person who told you about your motor needing a coil,a reputable mechanic? if so then ask him which one is fried,if all are fried then there is a good chance there is something else wrong.they are easy to install and remove. just take off the black plastic cover inbetween the valve covers (may have to take off the traction control throttle body,various hoses and remove allen key bolts) and remove the two bolts on each coil pack. my reference is for a gtt though if you have a gtr it may be different good luck!

got everything working now engine wise muahuahuah...shit hauls so much ass but i havnt even touched full boost yet cuz my fuel pump is surging. and my diff is done and the driveshaft i got custom made is imbalanced. i thank everyone that has helped me out on this forum and hope to give insight to peoples questions on this swap cheers!

i think since australia is awesome and is able to have newer models of imports,that most of the older cars are getting tired and need to be replaced. i know here in canada many of the gtr's are high kilometres and are high maintenence because of that.but most people that bought them keep them and just buy a little crap car while the gtr is in the shop,since you cant get an r33 for a couple more years. ......canada import laws are gay

okay! i got everything in supposedly,but the biotch wont start,cranks over and i got dash instruments,just no fuel and when i turn the key off and take it out of the ignition all my lights on the dash are still on..............where is the fuel pump relay located,and where is the ignition relay located.we just hardwired the ignition power wire from the neo to the ignition fuse in the fise box....any ideas?? o the joys of new technology:) thanx,cheers!

its not auto no,but i know what everything is its just been more than a month since i have removed everything and it wont go back together nicely i shoulda taken a picture thanks guys

well the mounting locations for the adjusters on the headlights would be different so there would be some fabrication involved,like making adapter brackets,but all in all that should be fairly simple

i talked to the guys from racespec and they said everything i need for 3000 plus shipping so probly 4 i would imagine.its not like i need it right now anyways,i got the whole winter to rot the body off of this car then get a nice kit for spring
