  1. yeah SO lucky that idid not hit the stobie pole... i went and had a look at where it happened last night... when i got out of shape i tried to hold it, and slide around the corner into a side street, but going back and looking, i am REALLY lucky that i hit the gutter, cos there would have been no way i could have avoided the pole any other way...
  2. mmmmmm i'd love to get me a coost controller basically, the cheapest and easiest mods to do are the ones to do with how the engine breathes... so make it easy for air to get into and out of the engine. keep in mind the bigger the cooler u put on the car the more lag u are likely to get, same goes with the diameter of the piping between the turbo, fmic and plenum... depends on your preference really
  3. im with you on this one... ASUS are not a premium brand, but they are by no means shit, i have had a couple of em, and i love my eee pc, got ubuntu gutsy gibbon on it

  9. had a look at the control arm when it was on the hoist.. could not see anything from the naked eye, but that does not mean its not fuxt. any clue on price of a straight control arm and labour for sorting it out? (ballpark figure is what im after)
  10. lol i will just paint it up with some ghetto spec spray paint... not the first time i have "fixed" my rash in this way
  11. hey guys. i was driving like a in a spirited manner the other day and made friends with a gutter. basically i hit the front left wheel on the gutter while sliding around a corner at full lock right (was not intentional to get out of shape, but if i did not have my wits about me it would be a very different story) , then was subsiquently lucky not to wrap my car around a stobie pole that is convieniently located right on a corner (nfi what posessed them to put it there).. the wheel has been pushed back (like there is tons of negative castor) and the wheel scrubs when i turn left. im fairly sure that the camber is a bit fuct too. I am hoping that i dont have to get new coilies, but i think i will have too. i got my local tyre power dudes to chuck it on the hoist for me this morning (thanks guys ) and got a good look underneath my car it appears that there is a bent strut, but wont have any proper idea till i hand the car over to a crash repairer. i live down south (brighton/seacliff area) i was wondering where would be a good place to take my car to get it looked at? like my gutter rash ?
  12. pickle me grandmother!!!
  13. ive got just a bit over 200 killerwasps @ 14psi with a turbo from an rb25, standard piping to a fmic (standard piping to reduce lag) 3" turbo back zorst, gtr fuel pump, bleeder valve and a remap. got other toys too like coilies strut braces and a 2-way but they have little to do with power.. the only other things that i will do to this car will be stuff to keep it happy (like a big ass oil cooler, moar efficient radiator and a sexy oil catch can) i want MOAR POWAAHHH, but i think that will end with me getting a new car
