  9. i was on a property called cordola that is about 15 k south of morgan. its awesome cos there is almost nothing there, have to take water, and dig a hole in the ground for when nature calls. its pretty much my favourite time of year because i can jst unwind and spend days asleep under a tree, or asleep on a boat holding onto a fishing line (we didnt catch a thing lol)
  10. im so knackered.. spend 5 days on teh river getting debaucherous. it was awesome. time to get back to work onthe rolla

  12. cheers ryan, you're absolutely right about the yarder work that has been done on it. once i get it running ok with the current setup. ill redo the whole fuel setup cos it has a bad case of gay.
  13. lol yeah thats him, gonna get the rolla and my mates type 3 VW done
  14. cheers guys, im surprised at the rolla love on here . will be a good lil daily once its complete. i have a spare gearbox in the shed, and on the lookout for a diff that is ok (might weld the one that is in there for when i wanna have fun). a mate of a mate has started a white walling company, and since its not a VN commodore i reckon it will look good
  15. also try adelaide tire power.. they have heaps of stuff in stock
  16. yeah ryan had it for a short while... he got frustrated with it and kicked the shit outta the passenger side quarter panel lol awesome motivation... do you live in a van by the river? awesome!, one day i might throw a better motor in, but atm im a bit adverse to spending much $$ on it cos i got it pretty damn cheap. dont want it to owe me as much as the 32
  17. not in a car i hope lol
  18. lol vu, abusing the like on SAU got fuel delivery issues too... will need a better pump and im gonna put an adjustable fuel reg in there too. no doubt once i come to villis to show it off the gearbox or diff will go pop (they are pretty damn tired). im just working on it slowly to spite u dave
  19. Firstly i thought i would share a bit of history of the car **these first pics are from a previous owners posts on another forum** here she is b4 it all started the guy, then shaved off the rear door handles, and the gay airvent then it was given a budget respray after this the guy put in in the 4k and strapped a 2nd hand t28 turbs on there this is the previous owners finished project when i bought it, it had a newer turbo on, and some ass hat had put the stock carby back on. here are some pics of it pretty much as it was when i picked it up the fuel tank was pissing fuel out of it (would drain 45lt over night) and the carby was dropping fuel straight onto the exhaust housing of the turbo the other thing i have done is get some TRX wheels on the old girl... had nightmares with wheelnuts needs a wash, but u get the picture i tried to mend the tank with a stick welder (the big weld was already on there.. i just made the hole lol) also the plenum for the carby is being modified, the inlet needs to me facing toward the turbo so i can use the same pipe between the carb and turbo needs to face the front of the car, and not across the rocker cover i got a hookup with an ex-hot rod builder who was willing to take an oxy torch to the tank and fix the plenum here is the fixed plenum: and the tank now has massive weld on it (previously just had a dirty big one) it still leaks the tiniest bit, but i will fix that with putty. due to the way the fuel system is set up (no return line so that fuel runs thru the exhaust into the turbo to give me a bit moar power) it pressureises the tank to 9psi making the leak seem bigger than it is. here is a mock up of the induction pipe and plenum : and here she is all plumbed up. i had to do alot of sketchy grinding on the induction pipe to fit well... didnt have anything to hold it so i had a well rickety rig holding it together please note the use of cable ties to keep the throttle cable in place, and my ghetto bracket to keep the fuel line off the rocker cover lol also my kick ass oil breather (11ty extra kw right there). need to play with plug gaps and timing to get her running... it will go without the turbo plumbed in (although not very well atm) and stalls with it all together. more updates as the come
