yeah, but it just depends what u have access to i spose.... rattle gun is far less likely to round off the bolts

mattys method is less likely to break things... but i have used my method a couple times

massive breaker bar, and maybe put a screw driver thru the flywheel into a gap behind it if the engine turns

my house mate told me yseterday that he brakes are making noise.... just had a quick look, i think i can see the problem... :| can u say metal on metal? those are the deepest grooves i have seen on a disc, they are about 3 - 4 mm deep
