Hi All, Im building up a r32 gtr as a track race rally car. I am going to enter it into events like the dutton targa so forth i just want to know what track events it can be run in?? I was flicking through this part of the forum and the old gibson motors sport 32 is running in a historic event with the 31's what is involved in that event? Is there anything like the old group c that they did run in? Can anyone help just so i can build the car up in a certain way? Thanks David

Yes that is all true but even for just the fact that there was 40k normal gtrs built it has to have some credit in the future fo some value. Might not get the same value as a decent 1 but still is differnt to the norm. They had the standard rb26 in them??

Nar its not i got a shell with the vin number BNR32100032 off a bloke in melb got it to built a track with and got it home and noticed it was different to normal gtr's i was wanting to see what they are worth and how to tell if they are or not? I did some searching on them i think they had a standard rb26 in them not the n1 version do know if that is correct?

Hey mate, Thanks for the info i have already got the shell and i noticed a few differnce about it so as the hyperrev mag states between 100000-100560 are nismo editions if that is the case then it is a nismo edition is that hyper rev in english or japense?

THanks Guys for your info. Its not that i am looking for one i got a shell on the weekend and i had noticed a few differnt thing about it that it has no ABS or rear window wiper and it was gun metal grey as the color code reads i got omto Nissan all the could tell me that it was built 1/90 and was grey. Did some googling and the info is very vague. The vin number is BNR32100032 i did notice all the Nismo editions on the net had 100 in the vin????? Thanks David

Thanks guys very helpfull. THe car has no reg and hasnt been reg in aus yet so gotta start from the start. Brought it as a shell and putting it back together with the parts of got at home. I was going to leave the carpet and alike out but keep all the dash etc in it.

Hey, Im building up a r32 gtr track road rally car. I just want to know how much interior is needed to get it registered as a road vehicle. At the moment it has no interior in it just a dash and i was not going to put any in it just the dash and door pannels with a roll cage. Does any one know the rule on it i looked on vic roads site and it had nothing. Can anyone help? Thanks David

Thanks fellas. I will do that. The bloke i got it off got it off a workshop they took the engine out to put in another gtr or sumthing and he got it as a rolling shell now i got it off him. What about rally rego what are the rules for that? Just found out it was built 1/90 if that helps? Thanks David Just got onto DOTARS they said it could be registered and that it was imported in Dec 05. Im asking for the paperwork now what else would need to be done to get it on the road?

Ive got a excedy one in my 32 revs a lot quicker and is a pretty good choice its up to you on what you want to do but its a good idea
