I didn't know the gauge cluster was an option. That was the only thing that i could tell if it was a turbo or a no turbo R34. Come to think of it how can you tell if an R33 is a turbo or not.

the 802.11n is meant to be 3-4 times as fast as 802.11g, but it all depends on your home network/environment. Ultimately the ideal wireless environment would be in an empty warehouse/open field with no interferance nor obstructions. However like many of us we live in homes with walls, microwaves and cordless phones. All these play apart with the wireless signal. I'm currently using 802.11g (linksys wireless modem/router and a crappy MSI wireless PCI card). It does the job fine, had no drop outs (besides crappy TPG). The only reason why i would go for the 802.11n would be to transfer files from pc to pc.

My TCS button does the same thing when you press it. When you press the button the TCS light on the dash (should be top centre of the dash) comes on/off

I have the same silver sticker on my airbox as well. Its just a reminder from nissan to change timing belt around the 100,000Km mark. A photo of the sticker would great just to confirm what it is though.

Hi, Tonight when i started the car the front demister on the climate control started blinking for about 4 seconds then stopped. It was just blinking, wasn't demisting the front windscreen or anything. Car turned on fine, haven't done anything differently than usual. The demister also was working fine as well. Does anyone know why it would be. I can't seem to recreate the issue. BTW, the pic isn't of my car, took it of from carsales.com.au, but its the same thing.

DVD ROMS/burners won't be region free. Windows usually allows you to change the region on your drive 4 times before it sticks to the 5th region (i.e. you play a region 1, then 2, then 1, then 2, then 1...then it will stick to region 1 forever). I'm not too sure if you format windows it resets itself. However there are 2 ways in overcoming regions on dvd roms/burners 1. Hardware/firmware changes. This can be found here http://forum.rpc1.org/portal.php[\url]. Technically its not illegal but you do void warranty and must be done at your own risk. 2. Software. There are some apps (AnyDVD come to mind) which resets the software to a specific region and can be used infinite times. These apps aren't free but i'm sure there are version which can be found on torrents.

Hi guys, i was thinking the same with a carpc build. I'm not going through the DIN way, was thinking of going through the little notebook way. Hi, I had my friend take a look at my car on the weekend and he found that there was an oil leak at the air conditioner compressor. He said to just take it to the mechanic the next time i do the usual 5000K service. Now just wondering, if i use the air conditioner for either hot or cold, will it stuff something up? Currently no oil is dripping on the floor when parked. Cheers

Woot woot!!! I'm a big Fallout fan. The guns and the gore. First one was excellent, only drawback was the limited time. Second fallout fixed the time factor. I still play it every so often just to see how much damage i could get with the bozar. Tactics was a bit strange, especially when you play it in real time (so used to turn base). I'm glad that its coming on PC....might have to upgrade PC just for this game.

I have a stock standard R34 GTT and i want to get some mods done. Couple of questions: 1. Is it possible to start of with exhaust then get the intercooler (and/or other mods) or do i need to get them all done at once? 2. If they find something wrong with the car (i.e. engine problem) can they fix it or do i need to take the car to a mechanic to get it fixed? 3. Is it wise to get a mechanic to go over the car to make sure everything is in working order before going to a tuning place or is the tuning place a one stop shop. Cheers

The episode was very disappointing. Although it was very close, it didn't have the 'epicness' of the other races. In my mind clarkson didn't really liked the car as much as he would have thought. He also didn't explain much of the car itself too, just the gismo's etc. I guess if they did a race in europe it would have been a bit more interesting (especially if it was on the autobahn).

I work in the city so i take the peasant transport. The R34 is a pretty much a weekend car. Occassionally we use it to go to the in-laws for dinner during the week but that's like once or twice.

Yeah i used to have the same mind, if i was to get an R34, then it had to be a GTR. But after reading some of the forum posts there are just more to it with a GTR than meets the eye such as cost of insurance, maintenance and paranoia (if somebody scratches the car). I didn't have enough cash so i bought a GTT. IMHO, i'd get a R34, there are less of them on the road, they look better than a R33, slightly newer.

I've had my key copied from Mr Minit. The copied will open the doors and boot, but won't turn on the engine. The key cost me like $7. They also said that they could copy the key with the central locking etc for around $270. I've got the same type of key from the photos so not too sure it has a chip in it.

If you have XP and need to reinstall, then you can use the repair feature (all it does is remove the windows directory and installs a new one). This means all your data will be there but your programs may not work. best to backup then start from scratch to be on the safe side. As for Vista to XP, dunno, haven't tried to do that. on my work PC i've got Vista business and SP1...dontcha love being a microsoft partner? Apparently its meant to fix alot of speed issues etc. Can't see the difference. Plus installing the service pack took about 30-45 minutes. At home i got XP as it seems more stable plus you don't have to go searching for vista compatible software.

I saw my friend press the bonnet on his car, so i did the same as i had no idea it could be bad. Until another friend of mine (who is a car enthusiast) said that by pushing it u dent the bonnet. best to hold a drop.

Man that sucks balls. From the photos you posted your car looks very nice. The first thing i did before i drove my car out of the car lot was to buy insurance. Then the next weekend had the alarm and immob put in. During that time it was the trusty club lock (which isn't at all trusty).

Yeah the weekend was pretty bad for premium. Went to at least two shells and one BP. None had 98 some had 95. Finally got some 98 from Mobile, i think its called 8000 or something.

Hi, just a noob question...with all the mods out there, does it really matter if you have an automatic or a manual car and would they work regardless? Mods such as BOV, exhaust intercooler etc. Cheers
