what about just getting a re-trim on your stock gear knob? i got quoted $250 for my steering wheel im sure they should be able to do the gear knob for like $100ish

Hey guys, i had my alarm controller and it used to always work, but then out of no where it just stopped working properly.. sometimes i would just have to click unlock over and over for a minuite till it finally opens.. then it just stopped working altogether.. then i lost my keys lol.. but ive got the replacement controller here (different to the first one but came with the car).. and it still doesnt work.. now i press buttons and it just does nothing.. ive already replaced the battery with a brand new one but still nothing.. anyone know how i can fix this? dont know which place it was installed from when i bought the car so yehh dont really like locking the car with the key and not having the alarm on so any suggestions would be great thanks

i was driving around the block in my mates area a few times coz i just had the new clutch put in was trying it out.. wasnt speeding i dont think just trying to get used to the clutch, and i couldve sworn sum guy was calling the cops and reporting my plates just because of the BOV sound he was probably reporting me as hooning! We'll he was on the phone and he was staring my car down then as i went past him was walking onto the middle of the road while on the phone and looking at the back of my car so im guessing he reported my plates? 2 months or so late havent heard anything =] But this anti-hoon line is gonna be stupid everyones gonna dobb in everyone they dont like

yehhh beaurepairs were good my mate did it before he sold the car to me it drove really good.. went to get another one but front bar is too low almost cracked it in half trying to get it on the hoist lol have to go back when i put my stock bar back on.. but yeah i think they quoted me $40 so its good

lol my bad wasnt sure if u were joking on not Ahhh yeah that would be it.. Yeah really i'd do it myself even if it took 2 days but thats if i knew how to do it... I only got my skyline about 4 months ago and havent done much when it comes to mechanical work so im still learning everything as i go.. Hopefully in the future ill be more confident and know what things are and do it myself =] but until then i'll be going to RE lol

yehh i had that idea at first then a friend of mine told me to just get a custom dump/front pipe made and buy a hiflow catback and then cat back i already have... lol on another note just got snapped at work haha its call centre and they sit with u and listen to your calls and watch exactly what your doing, they're like why are u putting people on hold and going on this website (SAU =P) lucky my boss isnt too much of a bitch she's like just dont do it again haha mann works boring need to do something to stay awake!!

Just gave a call to RE they quoted me about $350, i might ring around but try to get RE to drop it to $300 for the 1 day job we'll see how it goes since springvale is closer to me
