Thanks for the tip Chucky. But I think the battery is rooted cause I have had trouble with it before and it just seem weak. Like it will even go flat if the ignition is left on for too long

Yeah the hair dryer work for some stickers. I tried taking these metallic stickers that has been on my car for 2 years now and the heat is not working. The stickers seems to be dried up and when I go to peel it just crack/flake off and it has been a BI7CH trying to get it off. I only taken a few off so far. Still have about 60 little checkers shits to peel off slowly. Maybe one a day and I will get there eventually hehe.

Free SAU Decal Giveaway (Again!)
skylineakt replied to memphis's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Yeah was just wondering, cause I was in the first round and than the forum crashed. Does this mean I didn't make it to the second top 50? -
Yeah I went down to some battery place where they had a battery that will fit the Skyline R33 along with the right size terminals. It cost $99 bucks but I think it is only like a 380CCA. Does that matter? Like i'm not running any big ass system or anything. Just want it to start well and last long. My current battery now goes flat if the car is not started in 3 days!!

Yeah as Bass Junky said just be careful of what you say and stuff. Cause last time my my hit this guy running across the road and it was totally his fault. He was apologying and stuff and said he will pay for the damage. He also substaine an injury to his wrist and the car bonnet was scratch and dented. Later on he denied everything and wanted us to pay for his injury and saying it was our fault. But lucky my mum had witness from the local shops so things got sorted out. But good luck to your car and I hope the lady was not too badly hurt. It would be good to find out what happened to her. Cant' you check with the police that took your statement down? Cheers

Hi Guys, I think I need a new battery for my car dude. When I go to start it sometime it will just tick once and not even crank over. And also it seem like it is strugglying to start once it starts cranking. My questions is has anyone changed their battery before for a R33 Skyline? What type/brand is good and what sort of rating is needed for a Skyline. I don't know much about car batteries beside that is starts the damn thing So any advice would be helpfull. Also how much are they usually? I have seen some that are in their $100 to some that are close to $300 bucks?! Thanks
-
I think I need a new battery too. But don't know much about them. What should be the rating of the CCA etc for a Skyline?? I was expecting to pay like $200 + but if this Delkor is cheaper might see if I can find it in Melb.

I think the self learn itself again after driving around for a while. And will adapt to your driving style and conditions. -
Sound like everything is going well!! Glad to see that there is actually going to be a commitee. I would also like to get involve if I could to provide any support. But as I'm still relatively new, I guess any major roll is out of my leauge. Is there any pen pushing roles or PR roles that need to be filled?!

Can't find their email address. It is not on their website. And this special enquiry form is an email but need login name and password from pass shoppers. It is weird the way the have set it up. You can't contact them via email unless you have an account?!?! -
Hi Guys, Just want to know is any one here have brought from Takakaira before?? I was trying to request for a special enquiry form to find out how much an item cost as it is not on their website. But the special enquiry form is only available for reguarly users or pass shoppers that has an account with login name and password. I just want to find out how much a FIELD 'One Touch Harness' is to get it sent across. This harness is an extension for the E-manage harneses so you don't have to splice up the wire and it is a straight 'plug and play'. Can anyone sent a enquiry form for me?!?! Cheers Aaron
-
Hey 666Dan does that harness for take care of the ignition and the injectors?? or just one of them?? I can't seem to find it on the takakaira website as well. Where about?
-
Yeah it was a pretty bad storm something like the worst in 100 years!! I was even too scare to drive today because they reckon there was going to be a second round. End up catching the bus hehe
-
From what I have read in the pass and heard, ATP is pretty good. If you dismatile the turbo yourself and take it there, it will be cheaper as it save him labour and time.
-
Sounds good, but I'm scared of getting left behind hehe. Is the car park you talking about the entrance to the Albert Park swiming pool?
-
Yeah I lost my thread regarding the 2nd Go-Kart day. I wonder if it will come back on.
-
haha same here. Everytime the computer comes on, the home page loads SAU. Got sick of seen the white screen hehe And I think is just my bad luck too. Like last time when the forum was down everybody missed out on the Go-Kart event. Now this time I was thinking the same as the next G0-Kart is on this Sat. Anyone still interested in coming?? I lost the thread in the event section.

time + money = to SAFC or FMIC?
skylineakt replied to WazR32GTSt's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Man you are getting mix reation here. Reading this thread has made me confused! hehe I was on the same boat as you with my car, but my car is a R33. The thing is I have been told that Skyline runs really rich so a/f would be the way to go to get a better tuning. As with the fmic, you are already runing 11psi do you want to go even further even if you have a fmic with the ceramic turbo? And as suggested the supra fmic is not much better than the stock so maybe you should save up a bit more and get a better fmic. But I know if you have the money there now, you would want to spend it. So I say go the SAFC or save a little bit more get a better fmic and retune your ecu. As my car is auto too, I decide with the e-manage. But still haven't gotten it install yet due to $$ -
Dilemma - GTST -> GTR: A natural progression?
skylineakt replied to Kutter's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Dude it is true about what you say. Like I would love to have a GTR but due to other factors $$, I couldn't afford one. Hell I was just happy to have a Skyline so 'beggers can't be choosers'. Just really depends on how much you went out with the GTST. Like with mine GTST I'm not going to go crazy to the point where I can sell it for what it is and with the modified money to buy a GTR. I'm happy just to modify it and play around with it a bit. But playing around with it a bit will cost probably close to $5k. But if I have money further down the track, I will buy a GTR and as well as keep my GTST!! hehe So than if anyone comments that 'it is not a GTR' you pull out the real thing.
