So if I take out the turbo, and the cops pull me over, do I still get a fine even though I'm driving a R33 without a turbo?

Hi. I just bought a R33 GTS-T but I got my green P Plates after the ban. So my options are: a) Take out the turbo. b) Leave the turbo in there and drive it around until I get a fine. What should I do? Is it worth paying the fine? And what are the penalties. Thanks
