hey guys, my r33 (auto) has been stalling occasionally the last week or so, mostly when cruising at slow speed like thru roadworks/heavy traffic ect. the car does not have a BOV on it which used 2 cause it 2 stall. not sure what would be causing it. i dont drive it particularly hard, and its pretty close to stock, any ideas?

another update with all my plans.. given it some more thought.. 1. GTR style front grill 2. upgrade valve body in auto trans 3. full 3" exhaust 4. boot install an 7" screen up front 5. dual stage boost controller (daily 11psi an 16 for the weekend) 6. Hi flo stock turbo or maybe upgrade 7. ECU upgrade.. not sure if i can have full system or piggy back with auto trans 8. 18s + lowering 9. interior retrim im thinkin deep red/maroon leather on seats and door trims 10. r34 front end conversion maybe up the top of the list is deffinately happening.. further down are more like ideas n dreams but we'll c what happens.

$11k! guess i can slide that one down the list of mods planned for a while then. cheers guys

hey guys, been doin some thinking, is there anyone in Oz that makes a 'bolt on' r34 front end to fit on an r33, similar to that of the 'strawberry face s14-15 conversion.. im talking lights, front fenders, front bar all that sorta thing. has it been done or is it just more custom work than ya can poke a stick at??

hey guys, my r33 auto is currently pretty stocko just got fmic, cat back zorst an boost control (11psi) and im looking to upgrade the gearbox a bit before any more engine mods or more boost/more power. read a few threads about MV Autos 'valve body upgrade'.. i read a $350 'valve body upgrade' allows the box to handle 250-300kw which is plenty but im no gearbox expert and not sure exactly what it is/does. anyone care to shed light on 'valve body upgrades'? any help would be much appreciated cheers, Woody

got my alarm fitted today, lots of beeps an flashing lights so hopefully that will discourage thieving scum. wish we could get those gnarly flame thrower alarms they got in seth efrika haha. next job is the gtr grill, then 7" screen up front an amps n sub in the back, then full exhaust

hey dudes and dudettes, been doin a bit of research for my gtr style grill an i found a spare 'GT' badge in my glove box. brand new genuine nissan made in japan gear thinkin i mite mount that in the centre on some mesh, reckon it would look pretty sweet, what does everyone think?

if i were lacking in the skyline department id probly be econoboxing my way 2 work in a golf or impreza rx.. thank f**k i decided on the 33!

yeh was planning to borrow projector beams from somewhere else, not sure what the front bar is, i'll have 2 check with my mate i bought the car off. havnt seen the bar on any other line so far.. sure theres heaps of em.. just not around me which is kinda cool. thanks mate

hey kids, just a quick update if any1s interested. i tracked down a GTR style grill to toughen up the front end (even more!) and gettin my big badass alarm next week, so i can stop bein quite so paraniod about leavin her anywhere for more than 5 minutes. after that lot i'll be sorting my stereo good an proper.. have a kenwood 4 ch amp to power up the 6" pioneers all around, jbl monblock and alpine type R sittin here waiting to go in.. and i picked out my kenwood 7" touch screen to run the show. still deciding whether to get a real nice clean boot install, with sub in the centre an amps either side in grey carpet. let me kno wot ya think of the plans

thanks guys, not sure wot the front bar is exactly, bought the car from a mate, so i'll ask him wot it is. picked her up for $12k which is pretty decent price i reckon. yeh BOV stall is a bit of pain, pulled it off for rwc anyway, will plum it back wen i put it back on. there wont be any drunk mates gettin in this puppy. went alarm shopping today. getting alarm w glass/shock sensors imobiliser, keyless entry, central locking, thinking about remote start. .but that an extra $500 for wank factor. .probly wont bother. auto cuz i drive it on our crappy crappy congested freeways 5 days a week

holy crap some of you guys are gettin massive quotes, hows ya driving history? im 19 had no accidents/suspesions/claims n got quoted $2080 full comp with Just Car for a lightly modded r33. still debating whether to go ahead with that or $495 for 3rd party fire n theft. only down side with JC is that its an upfront payment. .no monthly installments.
