with cams your power is low because of your 8200 rev limit i would say! i have stock cams and mine is 8600! still making power at 8500 8600!!! on just 15 16 psi 400.6 rwhp in 47deg heat would easy go more on a cool day! i will be re wiring my fuel pump and spit fire coil packs then tuned to 20 22 psi so stayed tuned! i have 5s to by the way

ok thats prety much what i was thinking..... so do i run the earth wire to from the battery to the relay? do i run these new bigger wires to the pump its self also? or cut into the stock wires near the pump? sorry if i am no were near it haha i am new to all this!! all i have ever done is cd players -
i have sard 720cc inj and a sard in tank fuel pump i was running out of fuel on the dyno up top due to a voltage drop what needs to be done to fix this i had a read but it made it even harder to under stand! thanks in advance steve

yeah that will be the problem do you have a link for the fI guild mate? ill also change the fuel filter.... still has enough fuel now, but there was no room for more fuel up top as it was starting to run out.... but dose it pull hard up top end!!!! power never drops off just picks up more and more still comes on around 4700 5 but makes up for it up top and the extra revs! more boost will be crazy! and down low its still just as nice to drive say 4000rpm under..... tuned helped alot still makes boost at say 3000rpm few psi so its not like a lag no bottom end power car!

made 400.6hp atrw today on 15 close to 16psi 47deg!!!!!!! tryed 18psi coils were breaking down.... time for spit fires..... also was close to running out of fuel up top with a sard intank pump and 720cc sard inj.... so were going to rewire the fuel pump with bigger wires and put in a relay also thinking about a fuel reg? or should the stock one be fine? still makes power at 8500rpm stock cams!!

what he said! i would of liked to run 20psi tomora on my 5s but it will not be this time as i will still have the stock afm

very nice my 5s will be tuned tomora so it should be interesting to compair! i to will have stock afm for now im guessing around the same boost to... for now haha

what needs to be done to use z32 or rb25 air flow meters? i was going to go nismo but at there price i can not really see the point....

haha thats hard!!!!! i went the 5s because if i wanted more power, which you allways do! so i had head room for more they all ready feel like they will not run out of puff and thats untuned on 14psi can not wait till next friday to get it tuned! my afm are going to let me down but least ill get a taste of what these turbos can do

ill be running my stock air flow meters to get tuned with my gt2860r5s on next friday..... whats is the pros and cons of tuning pass the stock afm? after reading this R32 GTR Garret T04Z .70 front 1 rear peaked at 21 psi engine 40 thou over size JE pistons, stock rods and crank. ACL metal headgasket, race bearings ARP rod bolts, head stud kit N1 oil and water pump tomei poncams 260 9.15 stock cam gears and AFM's 800cc SARD injectors on stock rail 3.5inch exhaust with magic catalytic converter 044 pump with stock fuel pressure regulator split fire coils 403 awkw 541 awhp comes on hard at 4- 4500RPM but starts pulling about 3000RPM this set up uses stock air flow meters correct? i would of thought if it would of been bad to use the stock afm, it would of been with this set up? or is it differnt with a big single set up? i just want to know what i can tune it to and still be safe?

you just need a real tune haha i had 262rwkw on 13psi stock turbos.... it would spin the tyres by just putting your foot down in 2nd gear come on boost and spin them up in rwd that is

hard to say to it is tuned.... its making boost from around 4000 or so but puts you back around 5000 all ready pulls harder top end and pulls all the way to say 7700 can not feel it drop off at all but not driving it to hard till its tuned. thats on 14psi act boost as well.... more boost and a tune i say it will be pretty fast with alot more top top end! but feels like it will miss out abit in 1st gear my stockers would spin the tyres coming on boost in 1st gear but yeah tune will tell! afm will let me down i would think? but should go around 300rwkw? we are happy to run up to 20psi pump fuel but yeah see how it goes with the afm for now and how much boost we can get out of it... will still be a safe tune....

well im lined up for a tune next friday with my 5s so ill post what it makes ill only be using stock afm tho for now....

i have the -5s as well mate... i was told its built into the turbo just bolt them on and there ready to go! all i had to do to fit them was die grind out the oil return plates to suit the bolt holes....

made a few phone calls was told they are built into the turbo cartridge so just bolt them on and away you go...

i put mine on yesterday so far no probs....

i got my 5s on yesterday car is not tuned yet.... and is running 14psi pulls harder up top all ready than the stockers but it is a fair bit more laggy! dose not really come on to about 5000rpm but im sure with a tune it will drop again alot more... and i also do not have adj cam gears.... but with a tune and more boost i bet its going to pull really hard! they also sound alot better than the stockers
