  1. my bet mate is the tps switch!!!!! i did the same thing on mine after the rebuild either bumped it or it moved a little bit..... there is two little bolts on it you just need to adjust it back.... there is a real way to do it with a mulity meter how ever you speel it lol but i had a close look on mine and you could see were the washer had made a mark on it so i just put it back to there and BANG PERFECT!!!!! ps this was after about 4 hours of trying to set up the throttle bodys and throttle links because thats what i thought was causing the problem haha all the best let me know how you go!

  3. what dose it do if you free rev it to about 3000rpm? dose it cut then come back then cut then come back?
  4. mine is a r32 tho.... so yes inj you will need! i would go with the 720s head room for more! why go 550 if you need to go bigger later on? my 440 stockers were 95% maxed out at 262rwkw clutch i would say so..... my os was not cheap! but its a strong clutch and with the lightened fly wheel the top end pull from 5500 up is much faster!!!!! afm yes either z32s or nismos i would go... nismo just bolt in no cutting wires changing plugs ect... gaskits yes i have been told some one sells them as a kit for about 250 oil return bolts you have to drill out so i have been told also nothing to hard.....
  5. im doing the same as you mate using the 5s using the stock cooler see how it goes.... power fc sard 720cc inj sard fuel pump few little mods needed to fit in.... twin plate clutch os lightened fly wheel... im going to use nismo afm bolt straight in.... hopeing to run 20psi and see how the stock cooler goes.... hopefully make around 350rwkw also i have been told to just use the stock cams and use cam gears to get the best responce!
  6. oil plus filter and rubber washer for sump plug 45 bucks i just buy them a carton and i do it my self.... change it every 3000kms no matter what
  7. mine makes 262rwkw on 13psi stock turbos.....
  8. i have stock turbos on my r32 best is a 12.0 i was taking off at about 6500rpm.... side step i did a 12.1 first pass and got excited so i stepped of it at 7000rpm just spun all fours for first gear and ran a 12.8 haha i have semi slicks to go on now 245s.... so ill run low psi in them and do a 8000rpm take off and see how it goes! should be easy 11s my best kmh was 181 its making 262rwkw on only 13psi!!! i also use the stock gtr rims.....

  10. the more you drive it the worse it will get! and some of the turbo could go into your motor! so unles you have a spare 5grand laying around i would not be driving it until you get it fixed!
  11. you do know the stock gauage is not in psi?!!!!!!!! you have fitted it the wrong way around i would say..... if you fit it the wrong way like i warned you about doing you will run UNLIMTED boost! your turbo is dead so go find another one in good cond and cough up the $$$$

  14. i would try nothing under 6000rpm i do limters to but last time i ran with stock gtr rims dumping from 7000 i just spun all fours for all of first gear ..... but with your tyres and clutch you should be fine! ride the clutch you will get clutch slip so i would just dump it

  16. do you have a boost guage? i would not run over 10psi! fit it wrong and run to much boost, be up to replace a turbo or a engine!
  17. i would check and pull off all the cooler pipes to check there is no splits and fit all new clamps first! inlet manifold is not easy and would take that long! so be up for 6 to 8 hours times 75bucks a hour plus gaskits! i would run the metal gaskits to as i have been told the rb26s have a problem blowing out the stock inlet gaskits and throttle body gaskits true? thats what i did while it was off any way..... so add another 250 plus for them...
  18. why not stay with the twins? easyer less $ just go the 5s instead of the 7s thats what i will be doing....

  20. if i was you i would put a decent air filter first in the stock air box say what 100bucks? then either front pipes or cat next or both at the same time then get a decent boost cont ebc leave the boost on stock tho then a pfc plus a tune then up the boost to around 12 13psi max on the stock turbos the power from stock boost 8 or 9 to 12 13 makes a big differnce! by then you would need a good clutch to if you dont all ready have one
  21. pfc 1300 with hand cont plus a tune 400 500 some pay even more for a tune 750... you would have to get 20kw easy if not more and better responce better on fuel also
  22. ill get my tuner to have a look at it next time last time on the dyno tho it was fine..... 13 every time only seems to be on the road when you push it hard change gears fast back on the throttle fast, it seems to only make about 10psi not 13 when you pull the next gear..... you can feel it to not pulling as hard also...
  23. i run 13psi i wouldnt push much pass that 262rwkw 12.0 on the 1/4 mile they will break at some time.... and remember a engine rebuild is easy 10g start doing turbos pfc ect ect add more to that!
  24. any more ideas guys? its really i pain having this problem!!!! some times it dose it some time it dosnt maybe ill just have to wait to i get the new turbos on.....
  25. if i easy the throttle on tho just dont stamp it to the floor it holds perfect 13.6 13.7 psi
