  1. it may go quick in a streight line, but lest see it drift, go through the hills etc. You can never get you money back when you do major mods like that, its bad enough just doing basic stuff to a skyline.
  2. Allows more air to flow so it would be less of a restriction in top end, only needed for real big turbos i think when you can use 3'' cooler
  3. The 32 which looks similar would be 60mm inside, the inlet bit is 70mm but the internal size would be 60.
  4. thats fine, cant be sure if they will fit but, will be there sat morning for a bit.
  5. I have the bottom half of the plenium and the throttle body minus the tps sensor, but Im in adelaide and would want $100 for it all.
  6. I am looking for a cheap external wastegate to go with my HKS T04E turbo.
  7. Dont nkow what standard stuff is worth but if you want to buy them $100, you can just borrow them if you want, I can get new whiteline stuff for the gtr, a set of springs would be about 250.
  8. got the gts ones, if you had the spings out of the shocks we could compare the heights.
  9. so i shouldnt need a z32 one to make around 220 at the wheels?
  10. Joel I was goint to do the water pump myself untill i pulled the top cam belt cover off and saw what was involved. is probably not that hard but dont like risking thinks like that. I think you need to be carefull when taking the harmonic balancer off, apparently some come off easy and some take forever, this is what tillbrook said.
  11. your right but the swaybars deffinately made the car stiffer so if you change them you will have done everything you can do to easily improve you handling, the king springs shouldnt be much different to the whiteline ones you wouldnt think. Probably go on the next cruise organised.
  12. I have bilsten shocks and rsr springs in my car along with f&r strut bars, it handled good but didnt turn in as good as I liked. The other week I fitted whiteline swaybars adjustable, 24mm front 22mm rear i think, with the bushes for the lower control arm and the adjustable ones to reduce the neg on the back, I also changed the from caster rod bushes to give more caster and fitted the rings to take the complience out off the diff. Doing this made the car heeps better, it is a bit stiffer but just turns in so much better and the rear grips much better and if it does step out it comes back much quicker. On the cruise the other week I was doing a good job of keeping up with a john in his 34 gtr through the hills with pretty adverage tyres. If you want any whiteline gear I can get it cheap, the f&r swaybars were about 250 new.
  13. I think HKS do a internal wastegate 2835 which would be their biggest internal gate turbo and you would be able to get one that bolts on. There is a GT30 with internal gate but im not sure if it will bolt onto the manifold but it would be half the price of the hks turbo.
  14. thanks RS500, I think mine is a little smaller as it has a/r .60 compressor and a .6 exhaust housing.
  15. thats what I thought, were is the stock sender located on the motor?
  16. Its actually for a mate, but if you were here he would probably buy it.
  17. adam how much power are you making with the turbo as i have a hks to4e that i am putting on shortly, do you know the specs of your turbo.
  18. you will still need an adapter on the manifold as it would have a t28 flange, shouldnt be to hard though, how much do they want for the turbo.
  19. the GT28 would be very difficult to fit to the stock manifold as I dont think there is enough room because of the big compressor cover.
  20. not sure exact sizes but i will measure them again, just means I have to get the motor built to rev to 9grand I suppose.
  21. mine was a bit better after i changed the oil filter, but i have heard of the sensor stuffing up, my motor still runs fine and i have been like it for 12 months.
  22. its got a .6 ar exhaust and comp housing, not too big, about 59mm exhaust wheel i think. the manifold is not as easy as i thought as there is not much room, i was going to do it like the jms onveia but there is less room in a 32 so the plate has to be angled to clear the strut tower. will take pics once its done wont be for a couple of months, as im dooing the inlet manifold as well and need to buy rx7 injectors and the wastegate.
  23. gcg said they could do a t3/4 that was not ball bearing for 1800 i think, but if you just go a stock turbo you know what youve got and even if its not right you havent spent 2g Meggala I just got a hks t04e to put on my 32, only cost 400 and I am modding the stock manifold to take the extermal gate, do you have any info on the turbo, hp rating boost efficiency range etc, thanks.
  24. mines similar sometimes, just a dodgey sender I think, a common problem but apparently a new sensor is not cheap.
  25. will check my injectors tomorrow joel, glad I dont have to make your descision just have to put up with the lag when I put my turbo on. Could just try and find a sh hks, I know there is a place in the city, on gilbert st i that imports parts and has a small shop and sellstuff cheap. it dosent matter what you do you will probably think of somethink better later just better to jo somethink ond they you cant change your mind.
