  1. Fair call if you think it's pointless but I'm keen to tidy up the engine bay also. If an adapter was used for the factory throttle body, what else is needed? Do the injectors fit? What about the fuel rail? I saw something about std injectors needed a bigger o-ring to fit in the plenum properly. I want to know what I'm in for if and when I buy the stuff. If anyone can show a link to these threads as I'd like to read up on them a bit Thanks guys
  2. So I have just bought another r33 liner series 2 and I'd soon like to upgrade the factory plenum to a front facing greddy style. I'm a cnc machinist and have the skills and access to machines to make most adaptors that I think I'd need to change the plenum whith out having to do any aftermarket upgrades such as afm and computer. Just for the moment id like to keep the stock computer running. So my questions are what things will I find that need to be changed or replaced when changing my plenum. Eg throttle body, injectors / rail, bov etc. For the moment the main purpose is so I can setup a fmic without having the stupid crossover piping that is mostly required when doing a fmic. I don't want to use one of those fmic that have both pipes on the passenger side like factory.
  3. Do you have drivers window switch control
  4. Hey guys, I have a fairly stock r33 series 1.5 and i think my turbo is dying, makes a noise when cold at about 1500rpm. anyways i want to upgrade to a ball bearing turbo. am thinking garrett, i want one about the same size as stock only so i don't lose the low end response. I don't want to have to wait later in the rev range to pick up. anyone got particular models in mind? I don't want to have to do many mods either. any help with this would be great. also if anyone can tell me exactly what the flanges are on a standard setup would be great. Thanks guys Lloyd
  5. a mate has a hks bb turbo and you can hear it spin for about a minute after the car is turned off. this could be the sound if it is a ball bearing. just free spinning Lloyd
