  1. Welcome. If your pocket is deep then go for branded tyres, else, the likes of Fed and Kumho will do the same job (I heard they're noisy thats why they're not really popular with sedans but I cant hear anything). Federals models are 595SS and RS-R. The "equivalent" Kumhos are KU31 and KU36.
  2. Item Summary: Bridgestone RE050a 285/30/18 Location: QLD: Brisbane Condition: Used Reason for Selling: Going smaller size Asking Price: 1000 Delivery Methods: PickUp Contact Info: [email protected] Extra Information: Have these on my current wheels but thinking of getting new 265 RS-R. Plenty of thread left at the centre (wearing on the inside but still legal). This will be perfect for cars that doesnt have much camber wearing. For those that are running staggered wheels, I may consider selling them separate at 300 each. These tyres retail for over 800 each brand new. Negotiable
  3. Thats bloody cheap. I reckon you cant go wrong with the KU31/36 seriously for their price. Looking at these also but thinking whether the extra 1k you spend can be justified or not.
  4. +33 and I'm not biased. I'm never a big fan of the 33s but it grew in me. Hahaha.
  5. Looks like she likes sleek looking cars. I'll take the FD over S15 though. Just purely because of the unique-ness. Have a read on the 32817308173 pages long thread on rotary and you'll find that the rumour of them being unrealiable isnt true (however the fuel part of it is). Just like any other car, so long as you do the right thing, it should give you much problem. Having said that, S2000 is a good choice too. I think a stock S15 is just too boring. It needs more than lowering and rims to make it look good (e.g. body kit, dori style!).
  6. I think this has been covered a lot of times and after reading, I find % doesnt make sense as your power increases, your loss will only be that high and should peak at a certain value (meaning any increase is negligible). From memory the difference is around 70hp?
  7. Another group buy? How can I miss this one??!?!?! Is the plug universal? I'm thinking of getting one too.
  8. Item Summary: Nismo/Rays LMGT4 18" x 9.5" +15 Location: QLD: Brisbane Condition: Used Reason for Selling: Getting wider size Asking Price: 3000 Delivery Methods: PickUp Contact Info: [email protected] Extra Information: I am planning to get a set of the same rims in 10.5" so these will have to go. Bought them off a 34GTR owner last year when I first got the car and been treating them well since. The general condition of the rims are perfect except for 1 which have gutter rash from previous owner. The rims will be sold without the tyres. Heres some pic of them on my car. Most of you would have seen my car or the rims but heres a couple for those that dont know how it looks like... I'm not in a hurry to sell but would love a wider set of rims . If they dont sell, I'll just have to stick with the skinnys.

GTR can make a good family car too! Anyway I'm sure you're enjoying your new found love.
  10. Thinking back, thats probably because I changed ECU and boost controller right before the tune was done (same day). So technical I never knew what boost I was running before on stock solenoid and ecu. Hahaha. Sorry for my initial post if that confuses anyone.
  11. Sold awaiting payment.
  12. I thought this is known to 90% of us... All 33 GTR variants came with brembos and so did the 34s. Its only the 32 that doesnt come with them (from memory 32 vspec2 does come with them and maybe vspec too?)
  13. Bump! Couple of PMs but nothing firm yet. Hurry and grab this while its still available!
  14. Sounds right. I know its 3" after the Y merge but dont know whats before that. Mate, as long as you pay for postage, I dont mind posting anywhere. But seriously I have no idea how much international postage will cost and how long it'll take for it to reach you.
  15. Price: $450 pick up ( http://www.nengun.com/hks/stainless-front-pipe-gtr ) Location: Brisbane South Condition: Excellent except for a small scratch at the "dip" after the pipe split into 2. Reason for selling: no use as going back to stock. Very solid piece of pipe with perfect workmanship (welding). Ashame to sell it but have no use for it since I'm not thirsty for more power.
  16. Removing the bung improves your air intake... I dont know how is that bad. Plus you can hear the induction and bov sound more and its legal! But anyway, like everyone else said. Get someone good to look after your car if you're not very mechanically minded. Probably good to get the exhaust system done first (front pipe, cat and catback) and ecu + boost (around 12-14psi should be fine on stock turbo). Read more on the force induction section and you'll find most of your questions already answered.
  17. Best mod to start is get rid of the bung from Nissan in the air filter at the side. Free! http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R3...ox-t328372.html
  18. <br /><br /><br />No worries. I'm sure you will enjoy the new found love. =D
  19. Doesnt sound right to me too. I'm running 16psi and pushing 250awkw with less than 90% duty cycle.
  20. Welcome and congrats on your new toy! If you still have the stock airbox, maybe have a look at this topic. I try to tell every new GTR own about this because theres not much point in going pod filters... I'm sure you'll have fun with your GTR. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R3...ox-t328372.html
  21. Right. Thats something new for me. I always thought they were factory since they kinda match the carbon blade.
  22. Not sure man. Doesnt look too unstock to me. Maybe someone can Nissan Fast that and check if N1 comes with different end caps.
  23. http://www.zeleperformance.com/en/news/pre...s/item_354.html As much as the car is a piece of art and limited, I think the price is way overboard... I actually chuck that number into my import calculator and counted the numbers of zeros to make sure...
  24. Heres mine. I believe they are stock and came with the car. Its got GTR written on both side.
  25. Does 33 GTR come stock with rear speakers? If they do, do you have them and how much (with the panel for mounting too)?
