  1. Nah I'll just live with it if it cant be done (which I sort know but just wanna confirm). Its not pointless. This is not the Nismo sticker on the spokes but the manufacturer's sticker with details of the rims on the inside. Thats the easiest way to tell if the rims are genuine Rays. Yes I do. Thanks for the recommendation too.
  2. Too bad I'm still on-site. Should be a nice drive up there.
  3. You'll find its almost impossible to find aftermarket plastic lip.
  4. Woah, total making sense there. I never thought about that. Seeing that photo skyline posted with the black rim, I think it looks better than white. I know the N1 came stock with the carbon fibre wing but maybe series 3 came stock with them too? Probably an option too for that matter. They're adjustable as well through the GTR side carbon caps. I think you can get them brand new for around 400-500? Just on the front lip, mine was a but white-ish due to age. I was planning to respray them in matt black to keep the original look but gave the tyre shine a go (too lazy). Turned out perfect. Just remember as any tyre shine, the surface needs to be damped prior to spraying. Still looking perfect after 2 weeks.
  5. After putting the Nismo pads on, the brake dust on the front wheels are just ridiculous (someone told me it might be just bedding in to the rotors). Having white rims doesnt help so... I'm thinking of powder-coating my LMGT4 to black but I'd like to retain the genuine Rays' sticker on them. Is that possible? I know powder coating is around 80-100 per rim? But the sand blasting would rip the shit out of the stickers... Or maybe someone knows somebody that wanna swap a set of black TE37/LMGT4 in 18s with me? Recommendations for powder coating shops around Brisbane or advices are all welcomed. Cheers. PS: I'm not concern over the Nismo sticker because they can be replaced.

  7. Forgot to add, the price for Nismo Coppermix comes with a flywheel too which save you the trouble of machining yours. I doubt the price of the NPC ones comes with flywheel. If you're after something thats easy on the foot and will manage more than 300 or 400awhp, ATS and Nismo are the way to go. I've never seen/read anyone complaining about them.
  8. you're on a spending spree again Chris! I'd be interested in a couple of photos
  9. $2257 for OS Giken? I'd rather pay a couple 100s more for the nismo twinplate coppermix like what Biltz suggested.
  10. From the photo, your exhaust has got silencer on it. I''d be very surprise if its more than 100dB. My Trust Ti-R titanium catback with highflow cat only managed 93dB. Anyway, for best sounding when opened and quiet exhaust, you cant go pass Kakimoto Regu06&r. They look great with the titanium finish too! From memory, these are around 1.2k brand new. If you're after a titanium exhaust, Security is selling his Ti-R for a very affordable price.
  11. Was that rwkw or awkw? Nice power for the boost.
  12. Bought 1. Mods please close the topic. Thank you.
  13. Got them today. Thanks for the effort. Will look forward to someone installing on his gtr and post the review on the DIY. Hopefully no dramas.
  14. Nice set of new shoes you've got. Poor 32gtr.
  15. Hey? I thought they're bigger? Like an upgrade for stock if you dont want to go the plug way.
  16. Good stuff Phil. Thanks for organizing the group buy.
  17. Maybe it'll help buyers a lil more if you can post the offsets as well. Nice rims.
  18. Unless you're after a rare variant, import. If you can find a bargain, import. Or else, buy local. Its not worth the hassle and risk. Having said that, how do you know for sure 100% if the mileage are geniune? Ask yourself that question. Even if they have logbooks, you'll never know for sure. So long as the motor's healthy and everything's sweet, I dont see why you shouldnt get a car with higher mileage.
  19. Nice. You putting your new shoes on this thursday?
  20. Didnt you say you were selling 2?
  21. Shit man. I think if they're in 18s I'd be real tempted. Good luck.
