  3. Isnt whoretown full o shitt? Chill people. Its Monday!
  4. Erm. Does it matter if we (the ones that replied to the post doesnt own a R35 GTR? Dont think so. TBH, I dont feel anything because someone else in another country is paying 1/2 the price of what I'm paying for my car because its a different country? You can never get the best of everything. As suggested, if you really want to make yourself feel better because you can afford a cheap GTR, move to the States. Lower pay, higher rate of unemployment, higher risk of getting shot and all the crap that goes along with it. I do not disagree with your comment about getting pissed because I paid more for something BUT only if I can get it into the country. A good example is tyres from Tirerack . Theres no point getting pissed over something which you cannot change (and for this case getting a cheap R35 GTR in Australia) Not sure but I'm guessing its relative to the labour rates and tax? We're paying extra for luxury car tax here for cars and the GST is calculated with everything included. And the dealer's profit (this is again kinda related to labour rate)? Anyway keep feeding the troll and maybe this thread will keep me entertained the rest of the week.
  5. Hahaha. Should check the current temperature on the smart phone. Freaking 8 degrees and feels like 4degrees says the smart phone.
  6. The only time I've dropped the pressure to 34 was for a drag day once. Straight after that I've pump it back up to 38. I find 40 a bit too high personally and typically just run 38. 35-36 will give a slightly better grip but for daily driving 38 is good enough for me. 265/35/18 Michelin PS2.

Depends on your budget and what you're after. As said, Option 1 will give closest to the best (if not the best) deal for Kuhmo and Federals locally. But if you want something like the Bridgestones/Michelin etc, try importing from Tirerack in the states. I got a set of Michelin PS2 there for the price of the Federal RSR locally.
  8. Morning peeps. Winter is here!
  9. There a lot of other countries in the rest of the world that's got the GTR priced higher than AUS (e.g. Singapore, I believe around 250k SGD brand new 1AUD = approx. 1.19SGD). Quit whinging and maybe some day you will get one.
  10. I think with the turbo you're running, you'd probably end up putting the 600cc in. Seriously no point with the 444 as mine are slightly lesser than 90% duty on 250awkw.
  11. Man I think white car goes well with all colour rims. Fancy/fluoro are sooooo sexy! Always tempted to get those Gramlight 57d.
  12. I must be very shit than . After tuning I run 12.7 which is what that video showed a stock 33GTR ran. Who says drag doesnt need skills? Hahaha

Very true. Always love how that rpm moves to the throttle. I wonder how hard is it to have a replica for that on a 33... hahahaha
  14. Nice work. You and Anthony should start a GTR restoring business. Hahaha I'd be your customer when I have some spare cash. Love the attention to details you guys have and how much effort you've put into planning and learning about the car. Not to knock you off but why the 444cc injectors? I would think you'll be running the 500s or 600s (maybe Nismo) instead with the -7? With all the work done I think it'll be worth the investment.
  15. Mate I hope your pocket's deep enough because if this said outlet even exist, you'd probably be paying around 1.5k each for the rim (say 18x9.5 LMGT4). Most local wheel shops will rip you off. I've asked around when I first got my 33 GTR and 1.5-1.7k is around the mark for each rim quoted by most wheel shops I called. Second Streeter. I've dealt with him for 4yrs and have nothing but good reviews for him. Very quick to reply (except in the past where he's gone drifting over the weekend) as I suspect he's got people working for him now (email replies are ridiculously quick). As Simon mentioned, Streeter is my recommendation if you can wait (at least 2months for seafreight). Else, buying second hand or near new ones locally will save you around 500 for 4 rims (if you're lucky you might get good tyres with them too).
  16. Deposit paid for option 1. I've decided to not risk it and get the one that has been tested by previous GB. Hope it'll be good enough for track.

That would give the 34 83217389701293712893792162387468321746921374617364918 kW.
  19. That's more interesting than looking at spreadsheets.
  20. Good morning all! Looks like the smurfs will be on the cover page of all newspapers today!
  21. Hahaha. Few hundreds? The Michelin ps2 I got from tirerack saved me almost 1k landed. Same tyre is around 2.4k locally
  22. Heres mine from last month mate.
  23. Same with Yokohamas. They dont do them too. Good thing Continental and Michelin are still available.
