To cut long story short, we found theres a small piece of black housing which is attached to the actual airbox that is blocked (from factory). This is connected to a side air intake (probably doesnt matter to a lot of people since 90% of the people I know runs pod filters). This can be undone by depressing 2 clips which is used to secure the bung to the box (I actually saw-ed 2mm off the tip and found out later about the clip). Good news is, I can actually hear the stock bov (I never knew you can, wank factor) and it seems to boost better/more responsive!
Hopefully its ok to take that bung again because I still dont understand why they have that from factory....
