  1. Still no news on Nismo ones? I've got the R-Tune going in next week and hopefully its not as bad as the project mu because I've heard them on my mate's car before!
  2. My car pop pretty often when I shift from 1-2-3. Is that considered misfiring? It sound like any other rb and doesnt feel theres a loss of power too.
  3. Pardon my ignorance, what exactly is mis-firing? I know the theory behind it but whats the physical signs (e.g. car making weird sound, jerky, underpowered etc)?
  4. Isnt 044 external? I thought 040 is the intank one.
  5. Royal Purple 10w40. No issue and cbf changing or experienting any others.
  6. Throw in an ecu and you will find not a lot of cars can beat you at the lights (due to the GTR's AWD system) and even rolling start they might not be able to beat you because there's a limit to their high end power. However, a stock untuned GTR will take a while to come on boost and until then, you're just another straight six 2.6L coupe. I've got no doubt on track or bend you'll beat your mate with the soarer but its another story if you're dragging him on stop or rolling start. Make use of your AWD and launch it hard but I wouldnt recommend doing a 7k launch on the street. At the end of the day, same power same skill, gtr will beat the soarer and you'll find that they'll need significantly more power to be able to outrun you. ps: I know a TT 350z with 293rwkw and that thing is VERY fast. I even know I can outrun him with a launch and I'm only on 255awkw.
  7. Sold! Mods please close this thread.
  8. Time to upgrade!
  9. There hasnt been 1 yet I believe. Maybe try organizing 1 for next weekend or Friday night. I might be able to make it when I'm back from site. I'll probably be doing the major service on Sat and dont know how long it'll take.
  10. Not sure about leak but was working fine when they're still on the car. Only issue I saw after taking them off was the a 1 or 2 of the dust covers are cracking. Nothing major about them.
  11. Fixed at 14 front and rear. 28turns in total and at the softest, its way better than stock but at the stiffest, its not anymore stiffer than stock. That will be fixed next time I'm back from site. Probably drop another 10mm or 20mm from the front as the lowest point of my car would be the front pipe.
  12. Yea I know adjustable castor/rod or bushes will fix the issue but I'm hoping not to do any more mods to the car. We'll see how it goes as its not really that bad (only scrub when I full lock hard and road is uneven).
  13. Hmmm.... I'll get the brake pads changed and lower a lil more before and see if it'll scrub even more. After all these are done, I'll get it aligned and balanced.
  14. Yes but they're still on the car...
  15. As stated, I have a set of V-Spec suspension for sale at $250 Brisbane pick up. Can post at buyer's expense since I can chuck them in the Tein's box. 0422 797 486.
  16. Too lazy to go out and take a photo but try imagining the driver's sider wheel instead of the passenger. On full lock right the circle part (middle back of inner guards) is where its scrubbing.
  17. Sorry to dig up this VERY old thread but thought it'll be better than creating 1. I'm sort of having the same problem (scrubbing on the driver's side front) but its in the front middle wheel arch. Because its scrubbing the front, I'm thinking it's the castor adjustment. The scrub is very obvious when doing a full lock right turn. What would be the solution to this? If the other side doesnt scrub, doesnt that mean you can adjust the factory castor/camber settings to suit instead of doing more mods to make it suit? Who would be doing settings like this? Would a wheel alignment/balancing fix the issue? For the information, the car is a 33gtr v-spec with Tein super street coilovers without any other suspension mods. The wheels are 18x9.5 +15 with 285/30/18 tyres.
  18. +1. Just fitted them yesterday and seriously, they're not any stiffer than my v-spec suspension.

  20. Have you seen the Top Gear review on X6? After seeing that, it totally changed my opinion of it even though i kinda find the design special.
  21. +1. The E46 M3 headlights isnt that appealing.
  22. I got mine for around 1500AUD delivered from japan. After researching the difference between the jap spec and aus spec one, I concluded that its not worth that extra 1000 (quote by fulcrum around 2.5k) for revalving simply because you cant really feel that much of a difference. In any case, a lot of jap spec ones are around the 2k mark locally too which I think its a very heavy mark up by distributors here. Also another thing worth noting is, I've read somewhere that ONLY Teins are legal when it comes to aftermarket suspension in Australia. If thats true, I wouldnt mind paying that extra 400 for it. Aus or Jap spec doesnt really matter because they're all green visually (if you know what I mean).
  23. Super Street.
