  1. Hahaha. Very true and remind me of this yellow Evo on Mains Rd yesterday. Pssst Psst!
  2. 255awkw. 13-14L/100km with occasional boost.
  3. Both pods and bovs are HKS. BOV I believe are that SSQ3 (latest one). 100 for pod and 250 for bov. All brand new. Just on the exhaust... he really cant do it if its titanium. Someone has asked the question before about welding/cutting titanium. You'll need to find the right/same type of titanium to do that and from memory, you cant do steel to titanium. Adam: Actually I like the Kakimoto ones. Quiet unless you're on boost + the burble is much more obivous. Anyway like Tristan said, dont bother with anything else until you're earning your own money. That way nobody can say anything.
  4. Thanks for that. Seen 19x10.5 +22 in real life and they have very fat dish. Titanium? Are you sure? I've done a bit of research before and its very hard to weld steel to titanium or even titanium to titanium... Anyone wanna buy pods or hks bovs? My friend's got a couple here for sale if anyone's interested. Got them for his silvia but didnt end up using them.
  5. I think the difference between them are side and top feed + low impedance (gtr).
  6. The size of the rims remind me of those on Hate Tax's. You cant even see the rubber. Looks weird to me but nice dish.
  7. FRIDAY! At least there's a night market.
  8. Just keep a look out for them on forums. Maybe import monster or ebay? +1 for TE37. Looks great + easier to clean that multis. Man your 34 is really a money pit now! Just got new rims not long ago and now you're changing again... Hahaha. PS: you do realise for TE37s to have those dish size, you'll needa get 10.5" yah?
  9. +1. Never heard of anyone maxing out stock afm around 300awkw. Stock items should be sufficient for that but I must agree, injectors, fpr and fuel pump are very nice to have items to archieve that. Maybe check if the afm you have now are clean and in sound condition.
  10. Not really organizing anything, just a suggestion. However, I might be heading down next weekend with another 1 or 2 friends if anyone's keen to meet up.
  11. Correction. Swapped. That 32 he's working on is probably Dave's. Dave/Tristan: Hey you guys keen for dinner tonight after you're done working on the car? I can drive up and pick the poor bugger Adam up as well.
  12. Hey you gold coast slackas should start organizing a meet for next weekend!
  13. Doesnt sound right... anyway nothing is the same when you're comparing old cars. Just to give TS an idea, I know someone on the forum with another 33 N1 that has 330rwkw with close to 98% injector duty cycle and the only mod he's done are ecu, avcr, catback and cat (not 100% sure about cat but should be right). The only difference between N1s and standard gtrs are the engine, oil cooler, oil pump, water pump and no a/c. The other features doesnt really affect your power as much anyway (kelvar front diffuser etc). Having said that, thats with an aggressive tune according to him and mine's running a safe tune with 255awkw at less than 90% duty cycle.
  14. SORRY ANDY! You've got me in the Brandon's moment. Hahaha. Yes SS sorry. SS<Evo<RS (RSR now?)
  15. Yea. The proper term as Martin suggested is semi slicks. I just call them slicks cause I'm cool. HAHAHA! From memory, the compound and thread pattern is what defines them. Those KU36 and RSR only got the thread side of things + softer material but maybe not soft enough to be classified as a semi slick.
  16. They have 4studs too... But I wouldnt recommend because if you ever wanna sell them, 5studs would be a lot easier.
  17. The price itself is already a BIG step over. Maybe take the evos for something in between. But I heard of evo limitations, maybe in terms of loading or sizes.
  18. Martin: Street driving only and I'm no street racer... If you bring your car to the track, you cant really compare the mileage to mine at all or the reviews I'm reading
  19. I'll definitely be trying 31 or 36 for my next set if they're still in production and nothing better's out there for that money. If with tyre rotation they still clock 20000km, I might be better of getting some bridgestones for double the mileage. Anyway if these set gonna last me 40000km like those reviews I've read, I dont think I'll need to change my tyre for the next 2-3years... Andy: I wouldnt even bother spelling that word. Is that even english?!
  20. When I do my next service which I'm planning to have the major done. Thats in another 5000km. Considering how much I will be travelling in the next couple of months, I think it'll probably be another 6months at least... HAHAHA!
  21. Yes thats it. I know I was pronounce Dhabi when I saw it. But when I was typing I couldnt spell that word so I thought f**k it, just typed Dubai... Abu Dubai doesnt quite make sense does it? Hahaha Andy: I suppose. When I read the reviews on mine, they're suppose to be good for 45000-50000km. I'm already running close to 10000km and they still look new to me. Yea, RSR and KU36 are slicks wannabes, Hahahaha! The whole street legal slicks is just a market thing. Slicks = RE55 and Toyo888.
  22. Erm but you're only swapping the back to the front and the front back. After that bring that to a shop to do alignment. Isnt that all you gotta pay for? Just the alignment. I'm planning to swap them when I get the coilovers.
  23. Thats what happens when the project manager's not around and I'll be away on a 5months holiday up north in 1week time. Hahaha!
  24. Yea. But I'll like to know how long those KU31s and KU36 last. My colleague that drives an FD reckon the KU36 he's got are only good for around 20000km-25000km. I wonder if he bother doing any wheel swapping...
