I should keep a look out on the Perth thread then. I'm sure someone will whine bout it when something does break. Only this morning then I found out Perth is just as bad as Melb when it comes to defecting. I'm glad QLD is still alright for now...

He's running -5. My point to that was the fact that you dont need to spend 50k to get that figure. He was running close to 350 on the N1s though. Seriously all these is back to that black nur on sale... just keeps drifting further and further away. Andy: Good to see someone actually agrees. I know its not advisable but if I'm not gonna bashing it all the time I dont see any problem with it. Everyone knows how I drive, like a grandma. Theres a line between whats a MUST have and whats GOOD to have. And reason why I'm so pedantic about keeping it as stock as possible is because of its pedigree. And in my case, I've drawen the line. But maybe I'll head Dan's advise to get at least a fpr.

Martin: ??? Is it so hard to understand issue I have is holding boost and not not enough fuel? Coro drive is shit today for anyone thats going inbound. But the flyover bridge outbound is sweet. That'll make a perfect fly over entry for you Colin. Dont bother with those small speed bump! Colin: I already know of someone who did in Perth like I've mentioned. These are not track car thats subjected to constant abuse. 20k 30k and 50k is a lot of difference. And you said anyone you know end up spending more money than what the car is worth for that kinda build, what cars are they? Remember this is NUR we're talking about and stock price is 80-90k. You're saying they'll spend 100k on it? And I'm not saying you any 34gtr can do it for that price tag.

Oh yea Dave, when are you finishing up your apprenticeship? http://www.sedgman.com.au/careers/current_vacancies.php I think theres a few electrician vacancies come up if they can get internal people. I suspect minimum pay for these role to be above 120k pa but of course its site based.

Tough cars though. Just a pity I see so many shit ones around Sunnybank. Saw 2 really nice ones during the SAU drag day and I even lost to 1 of them on my first run.

ebc... electronic boost controller.
-
Tuner didnt advise 16psi. I SAID MILLION TIMES. Its not holding boost for some reason and I suspect actuators or ebc. Which I found out later that the apexi ones are shit. He told me he's got another customer running apexi got the same problem too but when he switched to evc 6, problem gone. Anyway that said, I still think I'm right about the achievability of that power with stock setup but I have fallen. Next mod after suspension is injectors and ebc or fpr and ebc.

Nah. Like I said before, proven and done before (2 33 N1 owners). However, everyone is right about fuel. I WILL need more fuel if I want to run higher power down the road, that I agree. But if you have absolutely no plans for anything more, why bother? Same concept as why I dont wanna get a dejetro or vipec. If you dont need it dont get it. Its only when you have the mentality of "oh its only a little bit more extra, maybe I should get that" then you'll end up spending a lot! Same deal with Maccas' upsizing! Doesnt work for me Same thing with launching gtrs at 7000rpm. What was the response when I mention that? If you remember. ps: I lied, I launched 3 times at that kinda rpm and ran 4 times...

Who said anything about ztune? That car on advertisement is a M-spec NUR. Not a ztune. I know how the ztune is built. And some sources told me that car was brought into aus for less than 200k and now sold to Greece for an unknown figure. Tristan: You have fail you notice the fact that I'm running way lower boost (16psi) than what I am suppose to be running (22psi). I thought the redbum in you has long disappeared along with the thrash he left behind. Think about it logically if I'm running close to 90% duty cycle on injectors with 16psi why wouldnt I hit 300awkw when I run 22psi at 98% duty? If I really need to, I can just change injectors and get a fuel regulator. If original boost was at 10psi and by going to 16psi I get from 165awkw to 255awkw, I think an extra 6psi for 50awkw isnt too over the board yah? The N1 turbos or GT-SS should be ran between 20 to 25 psi anyway. Colin: I'm not saying 400awkw with 5k I'm saying you dont have to spend 50k extra to get 400awkw. Considering the 34gtrs are more refined than the precendents, remember the topic is on the 34 Mspec NUR not just an mspec. The NUR engine if I'm not wrong is equivalent to an N1. I know a guy in perth that has a vspec 2 nur running slightly over 350awkw with what I said, ecu, ebc, injectors, afm and fuel pump.

Congratz and NICE rims.
-
Actually I failed to notice 1 point. The reason why its priced higher is probably because the owner throw in the original NUR engine in the deal as well.. That could be worth an extra 15k? Yea ztune are the most sought after but who in the right mind would buy it? I know I wouldnt if I have that kinda money. Cant justify that. But a NUR, yes. If the price is only gonna be around 80s. ps: Unless you've got too much money to spurge. Maybe you should share the love and we can all own a 34 gtr. Hahaha
-
Haha... because you've not done research on importing. Remember? I was in the market for a 34gtr before and I've looked at all options. I'm even quite familiar with the import process myself. A stock NUR would be around 80-90k mark. To make the NUR produce that kinda figure (400awkw) isnt hard at all. All you need is fuel, ecu, boost ($5k job?). Thats all. You might even get away with their stock turbos if they're the 34 N1s. Now even with turbos, considering -5, do you think it'll cost you another 50k to get your stock NUR to produce that power? All the mines shit is just branding imo. So what if its got all the ztune stuff? From memory, Kristian told me the ztune for sold for around 160k mark. And also, I saw a genuine mines on sale a few years ago for less than that price.
-
Thats f**ken M-Spec NUR with V-Spec II bonet is pure porn man!!! Especially with those figures and the Ztune LMGT4. HOWEVER, I doubt it'll be sold for that asking price...
-
Yea. They have been appointed as the mod for a reason. Its almost the same as arguing with a cop when he pulls you over, situation is always the same unless you're Josh.
-
Not much whoring here today from the looks of it. Tristan: Speaking of which, the helmet you use for skids/drift doesnt have to be bloody AS1698 approved ya? Those helmets we got for the drag were f**ken AS1698:2006 approved and they're f**ked. If so, at least I can still use it when you decided to bring me out on a date

Hahaha... we've found our way here in the end.

I believe most imports will NOT have geniune mileage unless they've got logbook (even so you cant really trust them 100%). The good news is that the shown mileage wouldnt be TOO FAR away from the actual mileage. It quite hard to believe the clock's been wound back like 100,000km. To be more realistic it's probably had an extra 20,000-50,000km only and if the engine compression test is good, doesnt matter much (its not a rotor). Mines got a lil sticker that said oil changed at 50,000km+ in the end of 1999 (jap) and now the clock is showing only 70,000km+. How is that possible? A lot can happen during that 9 or 10years but I dont believe it has only done 20,000km. But then again, there are people like myself that hardly drive their car especially when you have a daily. Since we've got a 2nd car in the family, I probably will be doing less than 10,000km a year. Dont be too bothered by the fact that mileage isnt genuine. If engine and everything else is fine, chances are they wouldnt give you any problems at all. And really if it does bother you, next time when you're buying an import try asking for logbooks and you'll find that you'll be paying a lot more extra for a few pieces of paper. Worth it or not, its up to you to decide.
-
Yea. That way it'll make us look better too in the long run! But if you're driving a 180, doesnt matter. They're meant for skids and drift anyway (j/k). HAHAHA

I believe QM1 is just te colour code of white. Where in Malaysia are you? I go to KL/Seremban almost every year for Chinese New Year but hardly see any nice imports around. Shit loads of protons though. -
Do a search and I'm sure you'll find something useful/helpful. At 250awkw, you might even get away with stock turbos. But then again to be really safe, yes turbos would need to be changed + pfc and a boost controller. Thats pretty much all you need or all that I'm running.
