I'd consider all those things you've listed as a lemon. Even though mine doesnt come with logs but it just handles and drives so well. Obviously buying something without log will mean there's no assurance to the actual mileage but hey, you can always do a major service. Stuff like engine or transmission being f**ked, I believe any experience mechanics would have picked them up. I suppose its gotta do with their senses after all these years of work.

I dont know how can anyone got the wrong model for their car from Ray. Researching does help and I find that list they have is pretty much all you need. Like you've said, they have disc type too which applies to GT-Cs. Same size same offset but wrong disc will f**k your brembos or any big brakes.

I believe acces autosport or motorsport sells them but they get the stickers directly from Rays and they require you to prove you own the rims before they sell them to you. Oh did I mention the the NISMO stickers I got quoted for my LMGT4 cost around 25 or 30bucks EACH? Heck the original stuff and go ebay someone who can do a vinyl decal for you. Works great and at 1/10 of the price. ps: Just make sure you give the guy the exact dimensions.

Yea I know what dish is but someone was always going on about dish when the offset was mention without considering the model/design of the rim itself. The fact that he's probably better in mechanics than I am, confuses me when my own understanding. So what I originally thought was right. Between +22 and +15 with same design/size, the +15 will appear to have more dish because its closer to the centre of the hub. The only way of having more real dish for them is to get bigger width size.

What are they anyway? Back on those pic, yea I sorta figured out the difference between positive and negative offsets but I remembered someone told me its related to dish. Say if you've got +22 and +15 on the same wide and size rim, the +22 will have more dish and this is what confuses me. What I understand from looking at those cross sectional diagrams is the offset's got nothing to do with the dish size, its the width and rim design that dictates it. What offset does is determine how much your wheels will stick out or in from the hub.

Still dodgy. It'll be even worse if you have a high powered car. Anything thats broken (intentionally or unintentionally) will not be as strong which is why 1piece forged rims are so exp. Its a good to have feature and this is something I would rather have than to pay for extra features that are of no use to me. But to each his own. I might get a Vipec or something else down the track when I'm after more power but now, the PFC will do everything thats required. And like Ash mention its more of the tuner that does the magic, not the ecu.

You're gonna stir Ash up again and turn this into a Vipec versus PFC thread AGAIN! lol But I tend to agree PFC does the job but what ECU to go with pretty much depends on your objective/tuner for the choice of ECU. Oh yea, I like the handcontroller display too. It tells me what I need to know or to just monitor stuff like knocking.
