  1. Ah yes. I remember Megan. Hahahaha John: Maybe the design of gts4 is similiar to gtr? If so, maybe its just a relay that'll do the trick for the 32s.
  2. Long or short black will do. I wonder what time Yatala Pie's open.
  3. Wooo... sounds like I'm gonna be getting some muthaf**ken ERD coffee tomorrow morning! Hey Adam! I see you lurking. Coming for the dyno day tomorrow?
  4. OMFG! I just realised that... HAHAHA! What was I think... yea I know AFM is air flow meter... my head must be thinking of injectors all the time for some reason. I'm an idiot.
  5. I'm sure you'll come very close even if you cant get those prices. Only tough part is AFM would be hard to sell at those prices since its natural human thinking of paying the "2nd hand price". The spray pattern can be like windscreen cleaner. Jet or spray. I'm not saying its that but you should get what I mean. Forgot those threads but there's a few that goes on about http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Sa...Rb-t294052.html
  6. Cant you just adjust the idling? Thats what I saw a mechanic did to mine (adjust it down to 950) but when I brought it to the tuner, he put it back up to 1100. Dont know why. I didnt have any problem with the car when I was at 950 too.
  7. Is there a possibility that a car tuned at 1.15bar to be hitting pressure above that value? Reason I asked was last wkend, it hit 1.19bar... I know its bugger all difference in terms of psi (difference of 0.5psi) as well but just curious.
  8. Erm... from my reading, the nismo ones have better spray pattern comparing to z32 and they dont require plug. But is the extra $ worth it? I dont know.
  9. Yea, same here. Not that it affects me but whenever someone ask what pressure should they be running for stock turbo, I'll just reply 12psi to be safe. Some lucky ones may have gotten away with 14psi or 15psi for years but you cant expect every single turbo's the same. Morale of the story is, I rather be safe than sorry. You've got no one else to blame but yourself if it does shits itself. It'll be a very costly experience or lesson to learn.

    I can give you a lift if you want. But that all depends on the weather... just washed it yesterday.

    You coming or what? Sky still looks f**ked but BOM still reckon its gonna be fine for the whole week... -.-;
  12. Probably the ceramic dust from the turbo. Read a lot about them but dont know if anyone's actually got a f**ked motor because of that reason.
  13. Go try it tomorrow at the dyno day! Tristan: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Z3...Wo-t296996.html

    You coming for this one?
  17. Of course. If you're already running map, there's no point in going getting another ecu just for AFM. I'm just saying if you dont have anything for starters. Reason being time spent on tuning when the same outcome. Not buying an ecu its a saving on its own.

    I never studied that before. I was thinking the only coat I know of is a raincoat. Hahaha
  19. WTF. You going to the north meet tomorrow? If the weather's good I'll be going and can give you a ride.
  20. HEY! Thats not acceptable!. Hahaha. Speaking of that, I'll needa get a quote from Dan to do a 100000km service maybe on the next oil change. We all know Dan's a good man.
  21. You mention that you've already got the haltech ecu ya? If thats the case, maybe check if you're actually running AFM now. The models seems to be able to run on map sensors but maybe the map sensors are additional items which users have to purchase seperately (like de-jetro, ecu itself is around 1k and if you include sensors looms etc the real cost of the package is around 1.7k). In any case, tuning a car without afm takes longer according to a couple of tuners. It can be done but if you're not after huge power (imo anything above 500awhp is huge), I personally wouldnt recommend map. Like what Eugene said, why pay for something extra which you dont need?
