  1. To me, its only the projectors that made series 3 standout from the earlier ones but you can always get aftermarket ones or even DIY like one guy who did it on SAU. To an untrained person like myself, its like looking at 34gtr and 34gtr vspec. The only thing you can tell are the diffusers, sticker and vspec fins on the diff.
  2. http://www.rayswheels.co.jp/cgi-bin/cgi2/e...modelName=CE28N http://www.rayswheels.co.jp/indexe.html Just a guide for anyone thats interested. Just go to the Rays website for all your questions. They will tell you which offset or design will fit your car (GTC has different face to suit different car). And yes they do come in 10.5 and I'm sure after 8 or 9 most come in x.5 instead of the full integer, dont ask me why.
  3. But research has show a glass of wine a day or so actually is good for you.
  4. Saw Beck exiting into Margarat St this morning too.
  5. Oh maybe at the same time someone can tell me if there's a way of making the water coming out from the thingy (dont know whats it called) spray instead of shooting a jet fo water.
  6. I see you're pimping again Tristan.
  7. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R3...in-t294923.html 31!!!
  8. I think the right word to use is adjustable coilover as I've also been told I do have coilover on my 33gtr only thing is they're non-adjustable. Funny but it sound right.
  9. Woah. I heard they've got nice wines there. It'll be interesting to see that website you mention up and running. Ganbatte!
  10. V Spec 2 I think. Thats another 15k more easily on top of V spec! Sorry to hear this but shit happens. I'm glad you're sensible enough to not purse the matter illegal as we all know, its not worth it at the end of the day especially when the family is involved. Its sad to see even after all the care and attention you've given the car, in the end, something out of your control happens.
  11. Black! Speak with a few importers and they'll tell you black is 1 of the hardest colour (other than MPs) to get and normally you'll pay a premium for them. And if you've been watching carsales, black ones dont stay on for too long. Colour is just 1 factor and I agree that you shouldnt discount a mint white one over a beaten black.
  12. erm... N1. If you're just after 300rwkw, just get the N1. With minimal bolt on mods you can probably achieve that or close enough to it. And at the same time, you've got the pleasure of owning a rare gtr (ego boost. hahahaha). But if you're after big horsepower which requires engine work or massive mods, dont bother with the N1. I'm saying this because my 33 is running 255awkw with stockies (ecu, boost controller and catbat are the only mods) but has boost problem and maybe fuel as well (inj. etc). With those sorted I'm sure I'll see 300 without any problem. Its only running 16psi too.
  13. Sorry that I've confused you. The last 2 sentences were meant for Dan aka Danski. The workshop starts from 10am. It cant be that hot.
  14. Come on to the pre dyno day at EFI (Yatala) this saturday. I'm pretty sure Dan's coming along too yah? Or are you gonna start cupping EFI too!?!?!?
  15. Sounds like fun. Tristan: Hey I thought I saw someone that looks like Amber working at Robina's Apple shop.
  16. I think buying a built one would be a lot simpler and if you get it from someone that's done it probably, it'll probably be more reliable too. Having said that, to be able to sell a 33GTR for 30k now, seems a little hard. Not including the exceptional ones, the typical 30k mark for 33GTRs are normally the series 3. And sometimes you'll find a few thats going for 28-29k. I'm not saying its impossible to get that price but depending on how urgent you need it gone, you might have to wait for awhile. "...anyways enough rambling my problem is where do i go with my gtr.. i love it to bits and its a good strong car, its been babied its whole life and i can see once i start going down stage one mods the vicious cycle starts.. weakest thing goes, then the next then the next then the next. etc etc weve all been there, speshially when it ends up alot of money and tears later." Couldnt agree more. Thats also another reason why I dont really wanna mod mine really hard.
  17. Finally. I hope the sale go through. Very nicely priced car. It feels bad seeing it up so long without a buyer. I suppose the GFC does have an impact on the car sales.
  18. Engine bay looks neat.
  19. I dont see the full list of mods. If its still reliable with that sort of power, I'd say 16-18k is not a bad price if lucky maybe even 20k. Anyway I agree with the rest that most of the time, you dont factor in the price of mods when you sell the car... thats how the game goes. Note MOST and not all the time.
  20. Oh I might add this piece of info that I found when researching on these injectors. Apparently the spray pattern of the Nismo ones are better. If someone can re-confirm this again it'll make your choice obvious (I'm 99% sure thats the case).
