  5. Whats the excess? Seems like you opted for the max excess from the looks of it. Looks alright to me. I'm paying roughly the same price with 1500excess.
  6. Wo.. gtr_man instead of sav_man. Haha Nick: yea I agree it'll vary but another point is the boost level might be the reason as well... anyway I'm not too bothered by it after the tune. Seriously before tuning, I'm not very impressed by it (mainly due to the lag) but after tuning, it makes a whole lot difference.
  7. Front pipe is an easy job maybe 1hr labour but dumps on the other hand are a pain in the ass. Dont know if its the same for gtst (you do have a gtst yah?). Rule of thumb for doing dumps is always do it when you're doing the turbos. That'll save you the labour. While you're at it, make sure the wastegate is good too.

  9. Yea its steel wheeled. I know spec sheet says 206kw but I'm pretty sure thats engine kw. No idea why it was 165awkw but it was running 0.65bar boost. Maybe the wastegate is dodgy cause the tuner couldnt get it to hold boost after 1.15bar, hence the 255awkw... =(
  10. Someone told me you can tell just by smelling the fume. In any case, you're better off with a gutted cat than a proper decat pipe. At least you still have A BIT of chance when you do get hit by the cops. But I wouldnt recommend running 1.
  11. I dont know much about mods but from my experience, the gain is definitely there with better flowing exhaust system. But the gain would be significant with a tune + boost. Mine went from 165awkw to 255awkw without any mods other than exhaust, ecu and boost kit. Not forgetting to mention the response i got after the tune, never fail to bring a smile to my face.
  12. If you can get it down below 15k, it might be worth it for someone thats gonna do up a full track car. After selling the bits in the car that you dont need, it will definitely be worthwhile. But at 19k... I dont think anyone that knows a bit or 2 would touch it, not even me when I dont know shit 1yr ago. Hahaha. At least I know if those 2 turbo goes, you'll be looking at 3-4k to replace them with labour included.

Hahaha. Black one's got some weird sound from gearbox, clutch or something. Silver turbo sounds like its dying. I remembered he mentioned got that gtr for 17k...

  15. Yea. It wasnt too bad but not really a lot of "show" cars around. The drifting is alright. I went later at night but left after an hour or so. How was melbourne? Did you leave a trail behind? Hahaha
