  1. Good work!
  2. FINALLY! Finish that freaking estimate. Hahaha managed to find my own mistake thats worth 50k. I'm surprised that bloody rotary shit talk is still going on. After page 7 or so its just repeating itself. Harrys burger tomorrow night??? Bunta: Yea 1100 is a very nice price for that package.
  3. I think a lot of people still use PFC mainly due to the availability of tuners and not wanting to pay extras for stuff/functions you dont use. At least thats the reason why I went the pfc way.
  4. On his profile it says 32... Unless he's got another but anyway I'm just stating my experience when I put in the a/c back then. The exact parts I put in were compressor, condenser and heater box.
  5. Tristan: make sure that price you've got include the harness, map sensors etc.
  6. Check the forum I'm sure there's a few wrecking 33s around. Or like you said, you can always check the exact part number. Unfortunately my wife doesnt like winding down the window + summer is quite hot in Brisbane too you know. Hahaha
  7. Same. Straight fit. ONLY problem I had when fitting the whole a/c system into my N1 is the oil cooler and electrics. N1 doesnt have a/c looms and the oil cooler is mounted in front of the intercooler where your condenser should be going. Other than these, everything else fits perfectly. Got a series 1 N1 but the parts were taken from a series 2 gtst. Hope that helps
  8. Seems like everyone's gonna have a busy day today. I've got an estimate of 58 pages to review by today....
  9. http://www.boostcruising.com/forums/index....68695&st=25 Worth going? Josh: the toyo price you posted yesterday seems very decent.
  10. http://www.productreview.com.au/showitem.php?item_id=50970 Reviews. Nobody told me as I dont know anyone who uses them.
  11. Arent 888s proper semis? If so I would expect them to be real noisy.
  12. I think you must be stupid to do that. I cant justify the wearing on such a car. I want something that'll last for 40000km! The stock tyres are 195/55/16 if you're interested in knowing. Its around 1250kg to make it even more accurate. The threads on mine still look good after around 5000km. Hopefully it'll last me another 20000km... hahaha.
  13. Not very light if you asked me. The spec sheet says close to 1.3tonne... only 200kg light than mine.
  14. I heard the KU36 last around 20000km so thats out of the question. RE001s are freaking exp. Got a friend that just got them for around 290 per tyre fitted + they use some fancy gas to make it lighter (nitrogen maybe?). RE050As are close to 400 each fitted. Tas: I believe KU36 can be compared to Evos if not RSR. Very good reviews from users on the forum. All these prices are for 215/45/17s.
  15. I dont have a long term "project car" thats worth establishing the relation with any workshop for that matter so the best deal will definitely get my business. Call option1 up, $132 each for both 595SS and KU31, fitted.
  16. Like you always say, the best deal will get your business.
  17. #1 I find 32s look good in multi spokes since they're sleeker/slimmer that the latters.
  18. Yea will do. You guys still doing the wash or what? John: Got ERD to check the loading and speed stuff for 535. Dave: I called him first but was disappointed with the price he quoted for KU31 (and other models too). Maybe he can offer a better price if you rock up but I highly doubt. The price difference between him and option1 is more than 100bucks for all 4 fitted and aligned.
  19. Yea... probably federal. The word itself on the tyre looks better than kumho too... hahaha.
  20. Yea. Looking at Evo, SS and KU31 now. Couldnt decide though.
  21. Thats the exact reason why I'm asking. I cbf about the noise on mine as the exhaust will be louder but on her beetle its different. The CR KAI I sold to my friend had some ling longs on them (cheapass) and I didnt know they're noisy until he put them on his cefiro. Its very annoying to hear thats for sure, sounds like bee buzzing. John: its the actual tyre being noisy and not from lost of traction etc. Generally better gripping tyres are noiser than lesser gripping ones. And thats why I'm checking whats the best compromise between them.
  22. Nope but its actually around 75kW if you wanna know. The last beetle before the new facelift thats coming soon.
  23. FAIL Taiwanese uses "MEH" for that sentence, Chinese uses "BEH" and Singapore/Malaysia uses "LAH"... Talk about multi-cultural...
  24. Ok, I'm just gonna ignore the rest. Colin: yea thats what I thought too but dont know if noise will be an issue. KU31 is cheaper so its a tough 1.
