  2. Question Guys! I need some help with tyres here. Wife's new beetle gonna be here next month and she's getting 17s for the car, so obviously she'll need tyres. What would you recommend? Model Noise Wear Price Grip TOTAL RE001 2 2 1 2 7 KU31 3 3 3 2 11 KU36 2 1 2 3 8 595 SS 3 3 3 2 11 595 Evo 2 2 2 3 9 Size that I'm getting is 215/45/17 and judging from the price I've got here, KU31 (option1, cheapest) and SS (ERD, cheapest) are the best compromise between noise/price/wear. What are your thoughts?
  3. Nice infos here but on a side note anyone has any recommendation if you factor in noise? I'm looking at getting new tyres for the missus' beelte. Been reading on the RE001 and apparently they're not very good on wet (dont know how the driver drives though). I'm thinking of KU31 or the Esta KU31? But which would have the best compromise for noise/wear(>30000km)/grip(wet/dry)? Looking at 215/45/17. I'm currently having RE050A on mine and love it. The bit that turns me off is the price tag. But if all else fail, I might have to op for it.
  4. Ah yes the good old bubble tea. How bout dinner at Sunnybank for a change? Speaking of Sunnybank, I saw this S15 yesterday with angel eyes! Damn sexy. Its more like the BMW version instead of the Audi LEDs if you know what I mean. I wonder if they have that for 33s.
  5. Never give a definite answer if you're not 101% sure. That way you wouldnt be going back on your words.

  10. http://www.sgcarmart.com/news/review.php?AID=65 Came across this when I'm killing some time at work. Pretty impressive for NA. I wonder if theres 1 in Australia since only 300 were made.
  11. Hey! Discrimination! I'm not the only one thats doing it. =P Hahaha... at least you can read the main point in the middle which answers Tas' question.
  12. I drive around 200km per week and no oil problem from mine. Dont know about the standard RB26 block but I dont think there'll be any problem at 320rwkw. Mine's currently on 255awkw. Havent been to any track day so I cant comment on that. I wouldnt expect the gearbox to have any problem if you're a sensible driver. Recommendation 33GTR - if you; 1) like the shape 2) mind age 32GTR - if you; 1) dont mind age Very simple. The other thing is your budget. If you have a budget of 28-30k you're in the market for a good condition 32/33 and if you only have 20k, I'd say go with the 32.
  13. Are you getting an M Spec and is that car in the photo the car you're getting? If so, that cant be an M Spec yah?
