  1. Nissan FAST Diagram shows it goes From the Fuel Filter to the Regulator. Not Fuel Line from Underneath car to Regulator?? Confused!
  2. Took Plenum of and cant remeber which Fuel line from the filter it plugs into? Currently have the Line from the fuel Filter going to the one that is higer and points towards the fuse box. The other fuel line that come from underneath the car running beside fuel filter goes to the lower pipe that runs to regulator on the rail. Is this right?? Just trying to eliminate Poor acceleration issues after Changing Plenumn.
  3. I tried fixing a scratch in my front grill on my gtr so I sanded it out, wax remover ect ect. Painted it an and now I get bubbling around the edges of the old paint where the bare plastic meets old paint. Any tips on doing this? Is there A plastic paint stripper or do ibspend hours sanding back to plastic? I have a plastic primer that just runs strait off! Useless crap that stuff!

  5. I think a 34 Gtr inter cooler has a Sensor plug in it but apart from that is it a direct replacement?
  6. Yeah I'm not sure if the fins can be fixed! It's like someone has driven into a star picket! Anyone got a nice stock intercooler lying around they wanna sell?
  7. Its Stock but has a bit of fin damage. Ideally I would love to find a stocko that's in good nic but it's pretty much just to make it look better for re sale! Had it for 10+ years and its time to sell the old girl. Have done alot of work to it interior wise getting it to look immaculate. It will be one for the enthusiast/ collector when it comes time to sell!
  8. As the topic says, what front mount is a better option when replacing the front mount inter cooler but still using the same mounting style? Basically wanna replace the stock one and bolt something the same back on using same mounting points but not 20 yrs old! Any help would be appreciated!

  11. Cheers Mate! Yeah seemed very odd Just being able to see the 30 Deg Mark Behind the pulley where the CAS was originally Located. Hope I'm using the correct mark on the Lower Cover Plate! lol!
  12. Guys, Have Just finished painting and re assembling Cam Covers/ Rocker covers ect ect. Got new CAS collars and Rubber grommet and reinstalled and kicked it over. Started good. The CAS was put back in original position so bolts in the centre (Took Photos Prior to Disassembly) on all 3. Thought i would check the timing so went out bought a Timing light. 1st Go : (Disconnected AAC valve or whatever its called under Plenum) Hooked timing light up to battery and the other end to the 2 Black wires on the First coil/Spark Plug closest to Cam Gears. Checked the marks on the Balancer and they were no where to be seen! (You Could Just make out the 30 Degree mark!) Probably like sitting 60+ if there was a mark! Turned of! 2nd Go : Loosened CAS and adjusted Clockwise bout half the distance. Getting Closer. 3rd Go : Fully Clockwise and its pretty spot on 20 Deg. Bit of history. Car had a Timing belt/water pump ect (100K service) end of 2009. SInce that service I've put 75 klm ( yes only that much!) on it over 2 yrs! Did the mechanic adjust it wrong or cam belt/gears put on wrong or something??? I have Power FC and its saying its at 20 Degrees at idle but prior to change it still said it was 20 so it must just adjust itself?

  14. As title says. Chasing a working, clean igniter for a R32 gtr as the black plastic casing on mine has broken and doesn't make full contact with pins. Luke.
  15. Wow that's a massive difference between 25 and 26! surely something incorrect there! Will try the rubber seal slotting into cover plate now! Lol!
  16. Guys, Have the rockers and front covers of the cam gears at the moment for a paint. Managed to sought a new coat and was reinstalling the CAS yesterday and snapped 2 of the bolts. I bought new collars and rubber seal and was wondering if the rubber seal goes behind the cover plate or behind the cas and placed on top of the plate? In Regards to torque setting the manual says 18-21 Nm but have sourced new bolts and tried them again but it just feels like its Gunna give way and snap again!!! Any help would be great thanks!
  17. Na haven't tried yet! Was just wondering if anyone out there has gone down this path? Probably easier to put new aftermarket seats in! ( But that's not me!)
  18. Has anyone had any luck with sourcing and Interior re trimmers that can retrim there seat to as close to standard as possible? Or possibly found a place that can cut foam to the original standard seats? Just trying find places that can do it! Any Help would be greatly appreciated! ( If you have Pics, post them up!)
  19. Found out that the Power FC had been bumped and the settings had Been Changed to run only 1 AFM! So Case closed! Thanks to all that Helped!
  20. Yeah but where is the wire it plugs into!! Mine is the same as Pic with the tail but No connection to connect it into!! Oh and what is that vent thing???? Been wondering about that to!

Like the topic says, i started my car up this afternoon and like always waited for a min or two to warm up and drove of.. 2 mins down the rode i heard a dead spot in acceleration like it wanted to stall or something. Then i pulled over and revved it a little and it wouldn't go past 2500rpm with out it wanting to stall. I have blackish smoke coming out on acceleration now and i have to change gears below 2000rpm. The car will not go past 2500rpm and was very hard to crawl to mechanic. I have had the same problem before when i popped the inter cooler piping of several times but i have checked all these connections and there all good. Any suggestions?? Fuel pump? AFM? any others?? ( doesn't fuel pump make whining noise on ignition anyway and this is heard??)) had brand new injectors, water pump, clutch master cylinder and new radiator fitted in the last 2 weeks.
