  3. heya all.. it looks like the r34 engine i have for my s13 has a blown headgasket... just wondering what you guys and girls think.. before i put it back into the car...
  4. need some help.... just bought i door shell and im tryin to get the window and mechanism out of my old door... but i cant seem to get it out..the 2 screw things at the top wont come out??? i have a sneaking suspision the windows needs to be down to get it out... is this true??

  10. hey all.. friend of mine has just bought a 180sx with a genuine r34 rb26 in it... it has exhaust, fmic, dirty microtech and some msd coilpacks... just wondering what the standard turbos will make in terms of reliable power.. did i quick google search buut didnt find anything.... cheers
  11. hey russ.. its bryn.. good to hear you got the attesa soted out ok.. owen said it was some random plate thing not put into the transfer case haha??? does it start to come alive at 330 horse? heard more is still needed though for beating neil.. catch ya soon mate
  12. Not shure about the new models... but the old gt b had better suspension ( bilstein, or however u spell it) they had a different front bar and maybe brembo's. mate of mine used to own a gen 2 legacy gt, i think from memory he got about 500ks to a tank. was only a 2litre though...
  13. s2 g15's are sooo ugly.... s1 all the way.. gamedude even imported some s1's from europe dude to demand... they have the @ and " keys mixed around though...
  14. not shure about neos.. but normal rb25's use sidefeed injectors... maybe neos are differnt from standard 25... someone will know? EDIT: after more research i see neos do use topfeed..i think most topfeed injectors are compatible

  17. i was allways under the impression that 4wd is where you have high and low range.. and awd was just the same thing without them options... so id say a gtr or a subaru would both be awd
  18. no you dont need aac... atleast that has been the case with a 4agze ive been working on... its running a haltech map based ecu.. so obviously the haltech didnt support aac so we blocked up the idle control holes in the throttle body and just set the idle with the idle screw... works like a charm..
  19. some actuators have a thread on the rod that goes the wastegate... u can disconect the rod fromt he wastgate (its only a split pin) and turn the rod...if you make the rod shorter it will increase boost, longer decrease boost... i dont know however if gtr turbos have this and if they did how youd go about setting both the gates to exactly the same boost...
  20. isnt there some sort of oil well or something on the head that needs to be blocked up when u take the vvt out?

  24. failed my l's 3 times... finally got it ont he 4th try ( never was good at reading )... passed my p's 1st time.. nearly failed for speeding though ( 2 out of 3 crosses ).. lost my lisence the day after... still waiting till feb to get it back .. hahah
  25. sorry to hear about it.. this happened to my bro in laws skylines after a rebuild.. the car was run in 1000km and the guy that built it put some tommie poncams in it on the side of the road outside the turners shop.... he didnt try to crank over the engine by hand and the everyones suprise when the ignition was turned there was loud bangs... long story short complete waste of a set of acl pistons as acl said should wouldent replace just one of them ( only cylinder 6) was broken.. timing was 180 out.... u guys may even remember the car... colgtsx's old r33 s2
