Hey everyone. I'm got a very annoying problem. I've had for ages and never bothered to fix lol. Ok, so the boost comes on really slowly, as in comes on and hovers around 8-9psi for ages , then shoots up to 16 really high in the rpm range.. I'm guessing like 6k rpm.. It comes on that slowly that in 2nd sometimes it won't even hit full boost before limiter... Just wondering if a air leak would cause this? And if so what's a good way to check ?.. Hope it makes sense.. Standard r34 turbos and a microtech in case ur wondering... And it still does this with boost controller disconnected and also the boost spikes hard on or around limiter... Look forward the replys !

I remember ages ago reading a mag. They did an article on putting a rb26 into an auto stages.. They was shocked that the standard gtr ecu did actually put out the signal for the auto box and everything worked sweet... Maybe won't be as hard as everyone is thinking...

from a rolling start i couldnt see a skyline needing mmuch power to beat an r35 . . I came very close with 360hp in an s13 . Was only just pulling away through 2nd but smashed me on the gearchange . I reckon if i had 400 id have a good chance Haha

well you dont sound that dedicated to performance . . When i used to plaY games and overclock i used to just reformat every few weeks . Heaps easier then trying to keep with windows bloating itself Haha

oil restrictor and oversize sump to go along with ur high flow oil pump.....

Can vouch for it making that power. On the same dyno as mine and alot of other mates cars... How can u say turbo is too big and he should downsize when gareth wants MORE power.
