Found out what the problem is.. piston no. 5 is blown.. so i have to get a new block for the car.. when the turbo blew the first time some of the impella got caught inside the intercooler and now shreaded the piston ring... fun times ahead!

i get my car fixed from the place where i bought it in sydney cause my dad knows the owners and they recon they give me a good deal on everything i get done there.. i got $3500 off the asking proce for the car but whave really had nothing but problems since i put the boost controller on there.. thats bout the only thing that has made the car have problems and im only running 10 pound..

it got sent over to gcg turbos and they said it would be a 3-4 day job.. didnt get it back for 2 and a half weeks... my mate called them and abused them saying that he would never go to them again and the dude fixing the turbo had to do it on a friday night and we were thinking he may not have done a proper job cause we got the shits with him. its been in the car for about 2 months or so.. its been ok.. but now all this white smoke when i hit boost.. i just spent $3500 getting it upgraded and everything.. what a shit hey... and i dont even have anything realllly aftermarket.. what a joke i have on my hands.. and i think its also out of warranty

My R33 is blowing white smoke when i hit boost.. only when i hit boost. i already got my turbo re-build by gcg turbos.. now its a ball bearing high flow turbo.. im running 10 psi have a boost controller, after market exhaust and thats about it.. everything i have read says turbo seal or head gasket or whatever... what should i do.. i have to drive to canberra 2moz but having 2nd thoughts now.. anyone out there know what i can do??

my r33 is idling low and my mate fixed it a few months back and incresed it with a screw driver but i didnt look what he was doing.. can someone show me a pic of the engine bay where i increase the idle/

Gday again mate, i havent changed anything to the BOV that you have done too it. i just got a note from the cops saying that it had to be removed. If its plumbed back then it should be legal then right?

I have a S2 R33 and have put some mods on it. Exhaust, pod, bov, rims, window tint. I got defected a few weeks ago for pod, bov, exhaust. Some of these are easy fixed like the bov. Switch back to my stock which i still have. But once i put everything back to stock then get the car checked and want to start modifying it again legally, instead of just chucking shit on without looking at the right way to do it. Who can help with engineers cert's, and legal decible levels for exhausts etc so i dont get busted any more? i contacted the rta and told then about my mods and asked them to send me something that tells me what i can and cant do to my car regarding bov's, pods, exhausts and i have been around in circles with them a million times. Is there a book or regulation guide that explains everything we can do to our cars legally??

im looking for a case for my pod filter.. i have a r33 and i have a HKS pod filter and got defected but pods are legal if you have a case for it.. so im looking to just put one on so its all legit.. anyone got one they can make or has one sitting around.. PM me

oook... just cause i got defected for my bov and pod filter by the cops and the defect notice says 'BOV to be removed.. and pod filter to comply..." so i can keep the pod if i get the casing and remove the bov .. but would i need an engineers cert if i got someone to plumb it back?

i know that pod filters are illegal if they are not cased off by something in the engine bay to make them seperate.. but i was wondering if anyone out there has a picture of their pod filter that is legal and has been cased off and where i can get that kinda of thing done around the north shore\beaches area? and to have a legal BOV.. i know that they are only legal if they are plumbed back?? is this right?

she said that the dvd player was illegal.. even tho it doesnt play dvd's when the car is on.. also i am coping everything that has been thrown my way. i admitted what i did was stupid and thats y they have taken my car away. the car is registered but because i had the mods the cop told me by looking at my rego sticker that i hadnt declaired them with the rta then it was unregistered? so i assume that when u mod your car u get a new rego sticker? is this right? and even ppl replied and just said that they do burnouts.. so everyone who has a skyline who does do burnouts and get away with them is just lucky. if u do one and are unlucky and get caught like i did then u cop what i am coping. it will be a matter of time before other ppl get caught in an unlucky situation and have their car taken too..

A few weeks ago i was in the city with 2 mates. I was pulling a U turn down a side street and kicked the back out.. (minor burnout - mininal smoke), when out of nowhere came 2 under cover cop cars. I pulled over straight away and they came up to the window and said 'how stupid do you feel?' they told me to get out and told my mates to sit in the car. The officer proceded to ask me what mods i had to the car. I said, umm just the pod filter. She replied 'what about your blow off valve??' at this point i thought ok.. she aint to stupid then. She told me not to move and she went around the whole car and asked if i had declaired the mods with the RTA and she looked at my rego sticker and she said that i hadnt?? i dunno how she knew that??! but then she said cause it was an unregistered vehicle then it would be impounded for 3 months.. i went to court to fight the burnout charge and got off with just a $200 fine and nothing else.. but now the cops are tellin me that i cant get the car back unless i get a letter from the magistrate stating that i can get my car back before the probationary 3 month period is up.. so im left carless... anyone else had this problem? Im going to be one of those guys.. I somehow blew my stock r33 turbo yesterday and was wondering what the best option was going to be for me? I have an r33 gtst with a HKS boost controller running 10.5psi, BOV, turbo timer, HKS Pod filter and 3.5 inch cat back exhaust. Should i be looking for a 2nd hand stock turbo or something thats going to pump out some more horses. I was going to upgrade later ne way but what else would i need to upgrade if i were too upgrade to another turbo? suggestions?
