  1. haha classic
  2. I'm not sure....i work at licensing and i don't know ha! Yeah, I'm not too sure as i don't really work in conjunction with the pits, sorry
  3. Well the rubber gaskets for the rocker cover were still very "rubbery-like", as in they felt fine and soft as if they were new....they didn't fell hard or cracked at all. I'm just going to buy NGK copper plugs for the car and leave it at the standard gap as i have had no problem with them in the past Anyone have a standard airbox i can borrow for pits?
  4. LOL man i don't spill oil when i fill it, always use a funnel Well i am pretty sure it was an oil leak, coz i removed the rocker cover's and checked the rubber gaskets/seals. They were fine but i still used some high temp silicone sealant as im pretty sure the rocker covers weren't sealed properly. The spark plug was like in a pool of oil, there wasnt any oil where the plug connects to the coil pack though lol
  5. Well Dan, you can hear mine then. It is a stock bov but it's blocked off so it doesn't vent to the intake, i get turbo fluttaaaaaaaaaaaaa
  6. I'm going to buy oil/plugs/filter tonight and server teh baby on the the weekend. Should see a slight improvement in fuel economy.... OH, and i wonder. Once i have taken my coil packs out i'll be able to see if any oil has leaked into my spark plugs. The last time i changed them, no 3 & 4 spark plug were sitting in about an inch of oil.....hopefully i fixed that problem properly but i'll find out on the weekend lol
  7. Well i'm looking at it this way, installing an SAFC2 allows me to change the fuel settings of the ecu right? Therefore i can get it tuned and have it running rich and with no cat i can be like skyryan and blow dirty big flames
  8. Do you guys reckon it is worth getting an SAFC-II for my car and then getting it tuned properly? So that way i can adjust my fuel settings etc. Also, I am running a catalytic converter, however once i pass pits the de-cat goes back in, I like my flames
  9. Haha i didn't buy a skyline for the fuel economy either! If i wanted fuel economy i would have brought a corolla
  10. Well im almost on empty now, so i'll fill her up on the way home from work and i'll keep putting about in her, then on the weekend ill service her and let you know how she goes
  11. How much does a piggy back ecu set you back? As for the fuel-cut defender, my brother brought it and never used it so i can stick it in my car for free if i want lol It has been around 7500kms since i changed the plugs and 4000kms since last oil/filter change. Im going to change the plugs/oil filter/oil/air filter etc this weekend What oil do you guys use? I'm using shell 5w-40, and my cars runs perfect on it:)
  12. Yeah i know you can't re-tune the stock ECU....i would need a piggy back or to get it chipped or something. Would it be worth installing a fuel-cu defender and then getting the boost controller tuned?
  13. I only slot it into 5th if im over 70km/h or so. There is a bosch 040 fuel pump for sale in the FS section....how hard are they to install? and once installed and tuned whats the rough power gain?
  14. Hey guys, First of all, I'm not sure if it is my O2 sensor that may be cuasing this problem, so any advice would be great Last Thursday evening I filled my car up with BP 98 right to the top and have since been driving my Skyline on a daily basis. At the moment I have just under 1/4 of a tank of petrol left and have travelled about 315km's. I am not very happy with the fuel economy my car has been getting. Yes I know, fuel economy has been discussed many times before but I would like to know what can possibly cause sh!tty fuel economy when I have been driving pretty softly. Yes I have been giving my car the occasional squirt but 90% of the time its just been off-boost driving. Does anybody know the exact capacity of the fuel tank in the Series 2 R33 GTS25-t? My car has the usual modifications - turbo-back exhaust, FMIC, air-pod, electronic boost controller. However, since I have owned the car, I have not had it tuned. I am planning to install a HKS fuel-cut defender and then have my car tuned soon. I am just after some reasons as to why I am getting poor fuel economy? Could it be that my O2 sensor is stuffed? The car needs a tune? Cheers for any help guys
  15. Hey mate im just curious about the rims? How muh did they set you back? They look Hollywood!!!
  16. Olivia, 730pm meet time is heaps better due to being a weeknight
  17. 100mm is the lowest legal ride height of the vehicle. That is measured from the lowest point of the vehicle, whatever part that is....
  18. I can't watch the youtube video at work, but don't worry, i respect other peoples property, so i won't be smoking them up
  19. Sorry Olivia, i didn't quite get where the meetpoint is? Hahahaha jks Sounds sweet, i'll be there for the cruise but i probably won't stay too late. Will be good for a monthly cruise with the crew
  20. Only if you let me of course
  21. My car blows a little white/whit blue smoke so i no my turbo is starting to head out the door. But it doesnt make any weird noises....only makes a nice loud sucking noise when accelarating hard....sucks harder than a $2 hooker haha
  22. $200 for a keypad alarm system + install? damn, i might consider getting one
  23. When is your car booked in at Joes Mr. Auto? I'll go to his shop and swap em over for the day
  24. yep i think stockies are the best option to get over the pits. Has anyone got a pair of stockies i can borrow to get over the pits this week?
  25. Welshpool & O'Connor u can just rock up and have an inspection, but for East Perth, Warwick, Midland and Kelmscott you need to book. The cops only have to find one thing wrong with your car to defect it, but then again the police do abuse their powers so your car doesnt really have to have anything wrong with it....
