Cops are not that bad, yeah some of us have bad days and get followed but you cant say shit about defects cause its your fault. But i also think they tend to let older aussie cars slide on some stuff. Well more then new imports anyways. My 2cents.

All i can say is this shit sucks a$$ big time, i am still one of the lucky ones that has never even been pulled over but im sure if that day ever comes mine will drive off on a flat top. Due to the age of my car i dont have to run cats (thats what rta said because i did check as the cat adr came in after the yr of my car) and the only time my car smells is on warm/start up. As Andrew said it is a big fine for a few more KW and it will stand out as all hell if a cop spots the flame out the ass end of your car. Yes the flame looks dam good but is it worth it in the end? If your going to worry about the environment sell your car and buy a push bike If your going to the track get a pipe section made up so you can remove the cat (would take 5mins) if it worrys you that much and swap it back to the cat for the street.
