  1. thanks for the fast replies guys. My car is a 1988 model. Im unsure of what gas it is meant to use. Looks like ill have to go see the local auto electrician to see if they can test it.
  2. Just a quick question.... if im in Brisbane where can i get my aircon gas refilled and how much is it?? I have never had the aircon working since i had my ceffy imported....was degassed before import Summer is coming and i cant stand the heat any more. Where can i get a refill? is it as easy as that?? Thanks to any of you who can direct me to the right path
  3. What about just the section between the turbo and the cat?? (the dump and front pipe) is that part roughly similar to R32 or 33? From cat back i will get custom made as it has only 1 slight bend and is fairly easy to make by the looks of it, just want to know if the dump and front pipe will fit up alright. Thanks Daisu for info on the hanger.... you wouldnt happen to have any pics of it?
  4. Hi guys Ive been sussing out basic upgrade sound systems for my car, not too keen on spending much as i prefer home theater, anyway just after a nice clean sound. Ive been looking at the Sony WX-GT78UI with USB for HD, its a double din unit, also like the kicker speakers in particular im keen on the KS602 6'' split with Xover and tweeter for the front and in the back parcel shelf kicker KS6930 three way 6x9's I am thinking of running the speakers straight from the headunit with no external amp. I know i am not going to get the most out of my speakers or quality this way but im not after that result, as long as it sounds alot better than stock. Im not after stupidly loud sound, i just want a good to listen to system thats clear and will last me a few years without problems. Has anyone had experience with any of this gear? Do you think this setup will be sufficient for what im after? What is the quality like of Sony headunits and Kicker speakers? Thanks for any replies
  5. Hey guys.... I am in need of some help, my A31 ceffy has had no tail pipe for some while now as its just been sitting around in the garage, This is mainly due to the hangers not being there. There is nothing existing there at the moment for me to hold up the tail pipe so i was just after some ideas from ur own cefiro's. I have a 3'' pipe with a single canon which i may get rid of and change it to dual straight pipes similar to the Dart Izumi style. If any of u has pics or can be bothered to crawl under there and take a pic for me that would be greatly appreciated. Also do 1 piece aftermarket R32Gtst or R33 dump+front pipes bolt up without any trouble? Thanks guys for any information that can be shared with me.

    Marrage In Japan

I didnt get any car parts apart from the JDM learner driver stickers and some drift stickers, as im selling the cars i have here and buying something cheap to runaround in eventually, the car game is not so strong in my blood anymore after what ive seen in Japan. to put it bluntly Oz mod rules and style sucks. I wanna buy something for the missus in Jp, she wants a VIP style sedan so we're thinking maybe a Y33 Cedric or something along those lines. Was tempting to buy air fresheners, ashtrays, front tables. cup holders and curtains hahaha i love that stuff. However i did buy many many clothes and new kicks from BAPE shop and 109 Shibuya and other shops in Harajuku, got a hot new G-shock from donki ote....and heaps of magazines from Book Off but due to Jetstars 20Kg baggage deal i left alot of clothes and magazines and beer back there awaiting my return lol.

    Marrage In Japan

Thanks Beer Baron, compliment appreciated. Yea i saw that silvia on my first day there and thought to myself..... this is how cars should be built hahaha love the style. Almost every car there has a ash tray like that, when i went halfway up Fuji Yama i saw a wagon with 6 ash trays on the dash, heavy smoker. It looks kool and a good idea too so you dont get ciggies thrown all over the streets. And yea don quixote is the best shop ever, its like a everything u want and need in one shop......it seems all the hotties hangout there at night with there friends, a good place for a nice view hahaha. Oh did i mention the crepes at Harajuku?? highly reccommended.... a must try. Thanks Blk180, Japan has very beautiful scenery, i didnt want to come back to this bland land we call home hahaha I hope you enjoy ur holiday in December.

Hey Funky, ive still got the cefiro, i havent sold it yet as i think ill put it through compliance before i let her go, should be easier to sell that way and might get a lil more for it. Do you know of anywhere that does 88 compliance? PM me and let me know....thanks bro
  11. If your in Southeast Queensland you might wanna check out Fujimart in Southport Goldcoast, its just off Ferry Road i think thats the name of the street, its inside a centro shopping center. Also might want to have a look at the Korean and Chinese shops around sunnybank, but i highly reccomend Fujimart, Stock varies from time to time but they have all the popular Jp snacks and drinks.

    Marrage In Japan

Hi guys, got back from Japan just this week, had a awesome time while i was over there. Yes R sanyon i am now married, we had a traditional marriage in a small garden at the bottom of Mt Fuji, i was wearing a hakama and the missus was dressed in a white kimono. Best thing about that place was the free beer, top ups as much as you want hahaha........ good times good times. Was really nervous about meeting the olds but they turned out to be the friendliest people i have met, my father in law was always trying to get me drunk and mother in law is one hell of a cook. The missus is still over there at the moment as we plan to have the birth of our baby in Japan. Apart from all the wedding stuff i went to see D1 in Odaiba, it was raining most of the day but we all had a ball. Its really amazing to see all the cars in real life and just the sound and atmosphere is something you all should experience. Saw heaps of VIP/Lowriders/Kei/Wagons/Drift street cars and Bosozoku as we were staying out in the sticks at Fujikawaguchiko. went to Upgarage near Kofu, saw many car yards driving through Sagamihara and Machida, a few cruises around Yokohama on saturday night. One thing that i really love over there were the trucks with there crazy chrome everything hahaha there so well presented. Oh and cant forget the family resturants.... there open always and the food is OISHIII, and the shop called Donkey, those of u living there will know it. When i make all my pics a lil smaller ill upload some for you all. Going back in December for a long period and hopefully if i can looking for work....not too sure about my chances but ill give it a try. But yea had the best time of my life.....smokes and beer are sooo cheap and easily accessable which is a major thumbs up from me haha.

  18. hi guys So today i went to drive my friends civic and i was about 5 mins into the drive and the clutch pedal started to feel a bit funky. Then it wouldnt go into 1st gear I managed to get it home slowly. With engine off i can get into all gears fine Clutch pedal feels normal....comes out fine and travels down fine. With engine on and in neautral i can not select any gear with clutch right to the floor. If i turn engine off and put it into 1st gear with clutch pedal down then turn engine on the idle is very low, feels like ur riding on the friction point. Is the clutch gone? Or is it the slave or master cylinder?? What do you guys think is the problem?? Any helpful advice is greatly appreciated Thanks in advance.

    Marrage In Japan

Hi guys Well im getting married in Japan in May this year. My partner is Japanese and she has already a 5 year old daughter so i am adopting her as a step father, also.... Just wanted to get some advice from those of you who might know about this. I want to know if i get married in Japan with marrage certificate etc etc will it be recognised legally back here in Queensland? Reason why i ask is early next year we are looking at relocating to Goldcoast. Also my partner is in the early stages of pregnancy and some advice on newborn child visa's or dual nationality or whatever you guys can give me would be great. Ive scanned through the Aus government pages on immigration but i just want some real facts from those of you in the know. Any knowledge that you may enlighten me with would be greatly appreciated Thanks in advance

    Msf Shootout 2009

Hi all ive heard some rumours about a so called MSF SHOOTOUT happening on the 21/2/09 i think its the D1 Street Legal class, correct me if i am wrong. Ive heard it will be at Ebisu but i am not 100% certain. Im interested in dates and where the event is taking place if anybody can re-assure me Im trying to organise a trip to Japan for early 09 and i would love to fit in some drift action such as this. I know that the actual D1 drift calendar doesnt start until 29/3 at Ebisu, the thing is i kinda wanna go there within the 1st two months of 09 for personal reasons (more like the wifey's reasons). Also has anyone ever been to a D1 event and or a STREET LEGAL event and which one is better?? Im kinda tossing up which one would be best to see. Any more light that could be shed upon this topic would be great Thanks

    Haneda Airport

Hi all, im going to be flying to Japan possibly in Feb next year. My missus who lives over there in Yamanashi/Kanagawa thinks that it would be easier for her if i fly into Haneda airport....i believe this is Tokyo's old international terminal. I will be flying from Brisbane, i havent been to any travel agent yet as ive been working flat out.... thats in the plans for the weekend. Has anyone flown into Haneda before and if so i think u must make a stop over in either Shanghai, Hongkong or Seoul....any reccommendations??? Any info that u guys can give me would be great Im just looking for the easiest route Thanks guys
