  1. did you hear the second verse? went something like this. "PAUL THE POSTWHORE CAN HE POST S HIT" "PAUL THE POSTWHORE" "YES HE CAN"
  2. ok, here are a few, mainly cheap shots, oh and some cars too. http://www.pbase.com/deesh i just realised, pbase resizes them, so if you click original down the bottom, u get the full size 1024x768 pic. you can also see the crappy digital zoom on a couple.
  3. dont go to bob jane, or big places like that, the people that will do the best deal are your local small tyre shops, they are run by 1 guy, and they will knock off a lot to get the sale, I paid $1700 for my rims and tyres, and bob jane quoted $2400 for the same set. When i checked around, most small shops were around the same price, they may not have the big display, but have access to the suppliers, so go in to a big shop, pick the wheels, and buy them from a small shop. easy, and $2000 will get you a good set, with good tyres.
  4. dont have it on hand, look up barries dyno and computer tune center in the white pages, the catch is barrie not barry
  5. my new XR400 picked up laser about 6-800m away on a straight road, gradenko can vouch, they pickup really well. Thing is if its laser they actually have to have it on you, or a car near you for it to pick up, so if you're front of the pack then it will just go nuts when they gun you.
  6. gst on stamp duty, bloody politicians, that is wrong. You should do everything electronically, and yes, thats a good idea, ask them to put a birthday card in with it, no receipt, then its a gift.

  8. im pretty sure its just a temp sensor, it usually plugs into the cat. The one on my car has a metal braided line going to it, im pretty sure its the same for skylines. From what ive heard its not critical, just used for warnings in case of a blocked cat or something.
  9. saw it last night too, very nice car. Panel and paint looks really good, nice rims and tyres, are you sure you want to give such a nice car to someone else to drive?

Down on sat morning, back by sunday night on a non double demerit weekend, ill be in that.
  11. that fuel system looks a lot like a v8 supercar system. If you squint at the top pic you can read it was built for mark skaife to race, so i spose you can see the links.
  12. hey im here, got your PM. Man, thats not life or death. But i like the attention.
  13. try this, its cheaper, and the guy reckons its better. Gradenko has done it to his car, im thinking of trying it myself. http://www.autospeed.com/A_0670/page1.html
  14. If they like your car, theyll make it so you keep coming back.
  15. is it adjustable? cant u just tighten it right up so it doesnt open much, or muffle the noise with something. then it passes with that BOV, get a permit for it, and adjust it back to where it was. Then no more yellows. BTW how do they test, do they drive it hard enough to build boost, or do they do it in neutral? I know i certainly wouldnt want some bodgy inspector driving my car enough to open the BOV.
  16. oooh, nice seats, later model, i wish my interior looked like that.
  17. It was a VT s2 with an LS1, dunno what sort of blower, big cooler 3 1/2" thick, and about 600 or more square. Very professional job, semi slicks, wouldve expected more out of it.
  18. was a good turnout, got 10 runs. Although im not happy with my times, i improved my driving ability throughout the night, best was a 14.05 with a 2.2 60'. Gotta perfect the launch, get a dump, get a clutch, and try again. I agree with GOT BOOST, simex tyres are the stickiest ive ever had. That blown LS1 was only able to pull a flat 13.
  19. Hey hicks, just for you. I brought out the GIMP for a quick edit, i think there is a spelling mistake in that pic though.
  20. yes, this time ill be there.
  21. definately sounds like a fuel problem. I had the exact same problem, except it didnt matter about corners or how much petrol was in the tank. Barrie discovered the pump was breaking down, and fixed it, yours is most probably like you say, the pump has come off, or you have some crap in the tank blocking the pickup or something. hmmm, delving into the petrol tank, not a nice job. What pump is it? new or secondhand?
  22. they need to reduce weight though, 1750kg is just too heavy.
  23. dont worry too much hey, cause if someone did try it, im sure everyone would back each other up. "Yeah, that guy was driving like a maniac, we asked him to leave three or four times"
  24. Yep, i just invested in a new bel, saved my ass once already. I dont think anyone here can say they *never* speed, and anyone who does is obviously lying, there are always situations where a bit of speeding is acceptable, and that is always where the police are. They should concentrate only on problem areas, rather than places they can hide good. Speed cameras arent made to increase road safety, they increase government revenue, no matter how the politicians like to spin it, thats why they wont stop using them, and they wont ban them from roads like the freeway.
  25. settle down fellas. Anyway, PVA you work for lawyers dont you? Im sure with a quick question, they will be able to tell you.
