  1. i would have to agree with all of the above ... light weight rims do make a difference.. im running p1 buddy club racing rims.. which are about 6.XX kg per rim. 17 inch tho... i think it would be best if u look @ these kind of rims if your more on the performance side then the cosmetic side. i feel that there is no need to go above 17inch rims for performance side of thing... 17 inch rims still can fit nice brakes behind them...
  2. look alikes?? :s I would go the GTS T upgrade for sure... look alikes they are sure to b heavy and probably give u less performance then anything. I know its easier to get these rims and im sure the car will look mint in them... but no one should say no to a good brake upgrade... especially if u r having trouble with yours at the moment... its what stop the car you know... haha besdies some good tyres like the pontenza series on gts t rims will give you more then enough grip on the road... then save and get some geniune rims... lets say something like P1 buddy clubs haha... and as everyone is saying... yes 5 stud does give u more rims to look at.
  3. ooo ARC ... very nice one.. =)
  4. just put on whatever u like man if u like c west put it on... ur car after all
  5. Here is a great link to help you ... im assuming ur stag is running a rb25 tho... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Di...l&hl=idling =)
  6. people tail gate me because they think i will drive fast since im driving a sports car... and it really pisses me off when ive just turn the car on and is taking it easy while the car gets up to temp. and no im not in the right lane! i stay in the left! bah.
  7. lol dude your attitude wouldnt of helped either hahah nice replies tho...
  8. meh i dun bother to think about the price of petrol when it comes to filling up the sky. i just fill her up.. ive been running b98 since import and usually from the same station and same pump! lol i fill up at bp myaree... ive yet to see them have no b98 fuel b4. Tho i have seen out of order bp 91. Come to think about it bp myaree always seems to b on the cheaper side of the avg prices . im sure caltex is just as good. but since my car has use nothing else by bp98 here in aus, might as well continue with it
  9. people who overtake u... then go into ur lane only to put their brakes on once they are infront of you. bah.
  10. yesterday my car suddenly was idling at 1000-1100 rpm... had a search around on the forums and came across this DIY. Had a go at it today and hey presto it fixed the problem straight up! Cheers Insu... ive also noticed the thread has helped a heap of people since 2006... not a bad effort at all! My hat comes off!
  11. and mine! No noise here... =)
  12. just a quick question Brendan 1.. u mentioned its tuned for 100 in japan but since we only got 98 here would we still get knock with spirited driving?? so should we b running octane boosters? since we are running 2 down from what its meant to be? or is 2 octane not that much of a difference ? I always thought it was tuned for "super" in japan which is 97 octane.(i may be wrong )
  13. mobile 1 0 - 40 here =)

  15. still uploading lol! ill do urs now. Sorry for the delay:P
  16. Dnt see why they wouldnt tho. If they wanted to sell it @ a higher price they would of raised it up. The majority of BP petrol stations according to fuel watch arent rasing the prices up tho.. i got half of tank left better start to look tomorrow!!
  17. only some of the bp are putting the price up.. some are not. For example (These two petrol stations are roughly 5 mins apart) Bp Kardinya Today: 108.xx Tomorrow: 120.xx However Bp Myaree Today: 108.9 Tomorrow: 108.5 Just have a quick glance on fuel watch and you can work out the best place to fill up thats both cheaper and not out of the way.
  18. irridum spark plugs create a stronger spark then its copper counterparts. stronger spark = cleaner burn. however having said that.. if ur willing to change ur spark plugs often nothing wrong with coppers. otherwise irridum is the way to go. Heres a video for those who dont get what i mean http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=tS4MV2pELyU&...feature=related
  19. irridum for the win guys.
  20. As ive said in previous topics about this, i think it has alot to do with your driving attitude.. In my years of driving (only 4 and a half) ive only been pulled over twice. (Once for my illegal HID in my V8 ute and once for apparent hooning in my v8 ute) Both times i did not get a yellow sticker. In my skyline which i have been driving for little bit over one year ive never been pulled over by the police. Which i think a major contributing factor to this is that i rarely speed or do any illegal activies on the road. Sure your some of us will just get plain unlucky @ times. But drive under the radar and most of the time u wont attract attention.
  21. What kind of friends is that???
