Really? Last time i went the lady instructor was really nice. Quite a few poeple were doing full on drifting and she never said a word about setting a bad example. I think she was more concerned if they dont do it here in a controlled environment they will do it out on the street. Which i think is a good mentality rather then not allowing it.

Thanks for the number guys. I will pull out my bride seat after AHG day and give some of these numbers a call. This guy seems pretty good.. but i wonder if just one seat would be worth his while?

Hey guys, Im after a good place to repair and re trim my bridge ergo seat. The right leg support has started to come away from the seat. With Eric aka Chi lending me his spare drivers seat its a perfect timing to send it to get fixed! Was hoping someone would have some connections to good retrimming places? I'm not sure on material.. i would like to get back the orginal bride trim but if this is not possible then thats fine. Cheers for your help guys, Brendan

factory plumb backed bov's are not illegal. If i had beeen the one that got pulled over and the police asked me i would just say i didnt have a bov to keep things simple for them. Saying you do but a factory one is just going to stir shit up. Its not like they will know where to look to find the factory one. =)

so in reality these lock nuts are pretty much useless. :S
-
lost my lock key for my lock nuts on my ute before. I used a impact socket (the black ones which can take a hell alot of a beating) smashed it onto the lock nut and used my rattle gun and it took it right off. Safe to say that the lock nut was well and truly f**ked. lol.

Im so going on a bbt crawl now Infact. going to get one right now... ill keep the reciepts

Where is the evidence to say that 5 bucks for a bbt is the most expensive in australia? I would like to see that. Formosa in the city is pretty much the same cost... infact i think i paid 5.50 for my last bbt there. What im trying to say is that i personally see no difference between 4 dollars and a 5 dollar bbt. Ive worked in the food industry before and i see how hard people work and when it comes down to the end profits for the business owner its not much... Yes attracting customers by cheap prices is good... but business has to survive and undercosting them selves... even if they sell 1000 bbts a day and making only a few cents per bbt is niether helping them stay afloat or worth their time. As time is money. And im not saying this in at all offensive way... as sure you are very well experience and knowledgable in this subject given your credientials, but there is always two sides to the story.. and it also depends on the situation that munch and snip is currently in. Anyway its all good =) At least we both got good taste in drink! BBT ftw =D

Whatever Andrew wants to do with his shop is his business. Whether he wants to rise the price up or down is non of ur concern. I prefer to pay more for quality. And take it from a business graduate and masters student.... things cost more then you think. Without factoring in the cost of time to prepare the bbt and prepare ingred.s for bbt. If you think 5 bucks is expensive for a bbt then you obviously havent been drinking bbt that often. And i dont appreciate you having a go at my friends shop. I think all his prices are fair.. and i personally wouldnt mind to pay more for the food or drinks i get there simply becuase its a new business.. and new business need all the extra money they can get even if its only 50 cents or 1 dollar more a bbt.

yep, its a very common problem. My car does it as well... but ive learnt to expect so it doesnt jump on me and i lose brakes and power steering mid corner!! Which it did when i first test drove the car... I explained the problem to a friend @ xspeed who inspected the car for me and he explained it to me.. But i recently got a SAFC 2 so that will sought that problem out when i get around to installing it. -
What a d*ck! sh!t. Even without tune it shouldnt b that bad, tho mike is right, it will run richer... and tend to stall if u drop the revs very quickly. Tho my blitz bov is running and ive yet to install my safc 2. And i still get roughly 450 for tank. Hrm, maybe count that as sunk cost and go for a real hks ssq? Try and find one that you can look at first (there is alot of them going around 2nd hand).. or get of reputable sellers... i know Kudos (andrew) on here is very trustworthy as ive bought things off him before.. always answers pm fast, though im not sure if he sells bov's..

ok, a few questions: 1. do u have a blow off valve? 2. did you hit the brakes quite hard before the corner 3. did u put the clutch in? If the answer to all three is yes, then its ur BOV. THis is normal for untuned cars running after market bov. So no need to worry. IF u drop the rev to quick it will cut out. You can either tune the car.. or just dont put the clutch in if ur droppng ur speed quickly or if u do, play with the acclerator to keep it from stalling.. =) -
in regards to the cop going off, i would of done the same thing. slowed down and waiting for him to move away and foot down and get out of there. Ive had a similar situation a few years back where that happened. A off duty cop comes running out of his house swearing his head off// i had a chick in the car at the time, so there was no way i was going to stop when he tried to flag me down.. lucky he didtn stand infront of my car... he stood of to the side shouting till he went red... He didnt show any i.d or make any suggestion that he was a police officer. For all i knew he could of been a dickhead wanting to steal my car. I was quite pissed off at the time, and after i dropped my friend home i went back to see if he was still there. HE was and this time he shouted out he was a police officer. So i stopped and he tried to do me for hooning, which i denied. WHich was true, as i drop a gear going around a corner, and my v8 ute ( my first car b4 r33) made a bit of noise around the corner but at no time was i going fast or lost traction, and i think thats what made him get out of his house. AFter a bit of arguing (I held my ground that i didnt do anything wrong...) , he let me off with a "warning" and that was the end of that. but the way he acted was in no way the proper way for a police officer to act. I should of gotten his ID and reported him. As he really scared my friend in the car. From that experience, i never have any faith in the police system. So, really, it all comes downto timing and luck. even when you dont do anything wrong, you can get into the sh*ts.

a copy hks? well there u go.. you get what u pay for. Try and get the geniune parts when you can! saves alot of hassles.. as it usually will fit and work the first time! A bit of black smoke when u floor it is normal for a turbo car tho.
