  3. NA supra can keep up with a r33 gts t? really? i thought they are quite heavy.. hence many poeple talk about the NA supra being all show and no go.
  4. It is compulsory to indicate when exiting a round a bout. I think ur getting confused when entering the round a bout. If you entering the round a bout and plan to go straight through, there is no need to indicate. However, just before you exit the round a bout you are required to indicate.
  5. used to have shopping list down the side of my car... After about a week i took them all off. lol

  7. I thought the tube and fin are the newer type of intercoolers??? So shouldnt they be betteR?
  8. A better pic of andrew......
  9. If you mean the 13th like bubba said, then yep i am booked in then. The arvo session tho..
  10. ive tried k & n as well. had dual throttlle on my v8 ute. Those pods where quite good. but honestly.. how dirty is australian air? its pretty clean. And i dont drive in the country with my skyline so the HKS superflow was the one for me. Even tho poeple claim that it doesnt filter that well. Ive got a ton of HKS parts on my skyline, and i trust their developments. And so do alot of professional drivers. I think it really comes down to personal taste. One or the other wont really make much difference unless its china spec.
  11. down with apexi! Up with HKS! *glares at Rhys*
  12. Waste of space? How big are they ? Cost u only 100 (at most... second hand can be sourced at 50 bucks) bucks to get one. Installation for it is cheap and can be intergrated with your alarm. So the question is why not? They certainly dont do any harm and any cooldown time the car gets extra is defiently a good thing.
  13. Pretty much any turbo timer and be installed to allow the alarm to arm while the car is on. All depends on how good the alarm installer is. And while inbuilt TT are good and convienent, most of them cant be changed from the basic 1 min cool down. Yes, its good to take the last few km's easy before turning off your car, but giving it a few more mins extra cool down is always good. Hence why TT's are such a good things to have. Not sure about your insurance company, but i have told mine what alarm i have and that i have a external TT and they said its fine, and insured me for it.
  14. ive teared it up @ ahg skid pan day and ive still got my hicas active. It didnt bother me too much tho. But then again it depends on what "high" speed and "moderate" speed is... Top speed on a skid pan day if ur lucky is 100kmh. Only to then slam the brakes and rip around the corner. Booked in another one in dec... see how that one goes.
  15. Yeah thats what i thought. But ker34 mentioned that the parents were told otherwise... Bit hard to believe a car could bounce enough @ that speed to deploy airbags?
  16. Doesnt look too bad. May just be able to pop it back out.
  17. Pulled over once in my V8 WB... for apparent "hooning" The cop who @ home at the time, heard my ute coming around the corner (Twin exhaust out the side). Due to me engine braking the car made a bit of noise as i went around the corner. He comes running out the his house swearing his head off... At first i didnt realise he was a cop as he was dressed in casual clothes, so i drove right past him thinking he is just some crazy nut head. THen i heard him shout out that he is a copper... stopped the car and he went off ! swearing his head off saying that i was hooning etc etc. When i denied it and said i wasnt and he could check the corner as i knew there was no skid marks there, he threathened me with a yellow sticker. Not wanting a yellow sticker i stopped arguing and he issued me a "warning". (Back during that time, the first hooning offense was a formal warning). Went on my way feeling very pissed off. Thats my one and only conflict with the police. Kind of ruined my image of the police. However with my skyline no problems whatsoever so far. And i have to police living on my street! Both of them are very nice tho. So im lucky in that sense!
  18. only 75kmh?? Probably a combination of poor roads and poor suspension. I drive past that bump quite often and never had any problems at the speed of around 70kmh. But then again i am running coil overs. Got law suit for bmw? Air bag falsely deploying knocking out the driver and killing the passengers... could be potentially a big problem for BMW if this in case is indeed true. Not to mention the government for posting unsafe speed limits/poor roads. Maybe that's why that information never went public? However, i have a feeling they were going a lot faster then 75kmh...
  19. Na, would of been at southlands. Shit grace thats bad to hear. I got a buffing machine if you want to give it a go @ buffing some of it out...
  20. Were you driving the R matt ? They didnt threaten you with a yellow sticker? Good work on sticking up for your self tho haha.
  21. Me! Winthrop! =P
  22. Hey guys, Important info on page 7 in the West Australian in regards to Car theft. Take a look... Mentions some hot spots which would be good to know when parking your car . Cheers, Brendan
  23. Dam that sucks :S May i ask which train station it was?
  24. Probably true for some of us... but i know quite a few skyline owners who dont speed on public roads. And i see alot of shit boxes tearing past me all the time. Guess it all comes down to the attitude of the driver...
