  1. Can confirm that. The front strut made a massive difference... best bang for buck in regards to handling mods for sure! 2nd hand cusco front strut braces are 100-150 depending on condition. Piece of cake to install as well.. Not sure why these didnt come stock ?
  2. thanks for the info guys Still no personal use on the bendix SRT? Ultis are good, i use them in my daily. but was after something a bit more serious.. my friend just bought Ferodo for his 180sx? but they seem a bit cheap? he only paid 60 bucks ? Or did he just buy the lower end of them? bumble_bee: Are you able to give me part numbers for the Front and rear bendix ulti? Thats assuming your running a r33 gts t?
  3. water pump will also start to leak a bit when its going out. Heres a tip: give the shaft of the fan a shake a bit, if its loose then the water pump is on its way out... if its tight and there isnt any play then its still ok. other options is like what karl said.. the coolant and possibly blocked radiator?
  4. ^^ yes WGMG when i leave a car space in front of me only to have people cut in on me. then for them to get all pissed of when i beep at them f*ckers
  5. So i still got the compliance brake pads in my r33... and they need a bleed anyway.. so i was going to change the brake pads and bleed at the same time. So i was wondering have any of you guys used this brake pads? Are they any good? How much did you pay for them? Ive always used bendix in the past and i trust their products... i would prefer to just get reviews on that brake pad... but other suggestions on other brands are more then welcome... and yes ive read the brake pad thread.. but im more after specific information on the Bendix SRT Cheers, Brendan O btw here is the link to the website http://performance.bendix.com.au/StreetRoadTrack.aspx
  6. lol its not hard to wire them in poeple! read the instruction manual and off you go. And yes im talking from experience, i have wired in such gauges before =) Cheers, Brendan
  7. money depoisted todayyyy
  8. that loooks dam disgusting biggest ive attempted is a one pounder from mac d how much did it cost him..?
  9. thanks for all the replys! what i meant by turning the key twice is that you got two stages before the car starts cranking. The first i beleive is acc. then the next one is on, the third cranks the car. i usually switch it to on, and wait for fuel pump to prime etc, before turning on the car. looks like ive been wasting my time!! haha.. but some habits are hard to break eh.
  10. YES those c*cky b*stards. just wanna smack them in the face damit b*itches!
  11. what was wrong with that instructor? last time i had Barbra she was really good. Taught alot of good things but at the same time was really lenient... let us have a good time out there.
  12. ^^ Agreed.
  13. careful when tapping into wires for the ciggie lighter... put say a gps in there it can blow a fuse. i would look into taping into the loom or something similar when you have the time. Not a big deal for now as long as u are aware of the fact not to overload the ciggie lighter socket on that note, can u take a photo of the head light wire you tapped into? I need to tap my boost gauge into a "dimmer" wire, so at night the gauge wont b so bright.
  14. One word answer: yes IF you drive normal, then it will hold up for awhile. IF you dont. then it wont be long till u need a new one.
  15. quite high... lots of r33 on the market man. Uve been wanting to sell off ur car for a while now i dont think u will b satisfied if u dont sell it lol.
  16. sell. hunt for car with some of the work done on it already... maybe suspension etc. its always fun buying a new car!
  17. start saving for a new clutch... ! exedy ftw! if u keep giving to it, it will give way pretty soon... Drive normally and it should last for awhile... =)
  18. Hey guys, So ever since i got my skyline ive gotten into the habit. When i turn on my car.. ill turn the key two times and wait until my air bag light turns off (about7 seconds) before i turn it one more time to turn on the car. My thinking is that it gives the car ecu time to load as well as time for the fuel pump to prime. Now what im wondering is... i am wasting my time ? is there any side effect of me just turning on the car straight away? Or am i doing the right thing? Cheers guys, Brendan
  19. i hit the red button i wasnt meant to press. My skyline transformed, with two big jets coming out the back. i then escaped by driving on the roof of the tunnel, hence avoiding traffic. i then hid my car at will smiths house and we chilled like brothers
  20. i did that and parked very close to the kerb to maximise the distance between my car and the white line. and yet it still happened. thats why it pissed me off so much
  21. can u send me a pic of ur engine?
  22. just need to find out who supplys them i started a group buy for it before, but didnt go through with it due to legalities and funds. but i start holidays at the end of oct, so more work = more money for me. from memory it was 650$ if we got 4 people...ill try and dig up the user name
  23. ^^ paint the whole car black? lol! whos up for a carbon bonnet group buy!!!
  24. 500-600 (2nd hand) for carbon fibre coating and fibreglass underneath. u can get around that price new if u can get a group buy... i would b interested in getting on for my r33... was going to buy one awhile back, but decided against it at the time, and bought my FMIC instead. but i love the look of steven (ztuned is his username on here) r33 with the carbon bonnet.
  25. go carbon look even better.
