My 300c SRT 8 gives me 0 to 100 in 5.0 seconds. That things got some serious aggressive acceleration despite it being around 2 tonne

hey eric doing the same thing as you actually. After alot of research i found that you wont notice any difference between RDA and DBA on the street. The RDA are a softer disc so they will wear quicker, however, they are alot cheaper. As you would of seen on the rda group buy. So its probably best bang for buck if you went with the RDA discs. This, in the end, is what i chose and have just ordered with the RDA group buy batch 49. I got told the best combo if what your doing is mainly street driving is RDA slotted with green stuff pad. Which is a less aggresive pad so it wont eat away at the rotors. They are more than capable of a few track days here and there. But if your after a tracked only car the you would have to go red/yellow which are made from harder compounds. Just my 2cents hope it help eric.

going price for 10w-40w royal purple 5 litres is $au109... over here in perth. Cant remember if that was the XPR version or not... i need to have a look next time im down at the shop

its a series 2 engine.... no ignitor pack mine is made in 04/95 as well and mines got a series 2 engine.

motion sensors in the car will also help this problem... once they stick something down there alarm will go off.

it looks like the fan is even further back for the motul run...

standard in all R33's went back on the r34 GTT. (Dunno why) not sure about R32 GTR but GTS/T is not in the boot.

are you sure it has to be in a vented box? I thought if i was connect to a pipe leading to the outside of the car that was more than enough. Oh and of course secured...

if it was me i would... maybe use a lower grade oil in the meantime. Royal purple is already a high quality well balanced oil. There is no need to add anything to it. As for castrol edge.. i dont think that is fully synthetic... i think its a group III oil. Mine does give a bit of tickiing noise.. but i wouldnt go over 10w for the cold weight.. and 40w would b ideal for hot weight.. however 50 may be ok... any one can confirm this?

^^ agreed. Royal Purple states on its website you should NEVER add any additives to its oil. I wouldnt use that stuff even on my daily. If i was in your shoes i would be taking that stuff out and putting new stuff in.

A good way of doing this is... position ur breaker bar so its leaning on the ground put the key in the iginition and turn her over. The car will un do it for you. Only attempt this if you are confident...im sure they didnt need to be said tho.

probably just the lifters... normal for the rb25det.... What oil were u using before? just make sure its full (Around 4.5 litres) and you will be fine... You are using high quality oil...with the correct weights so i dont see a problem there. Im sure others can confirm this..

thats bullshit they did mine no problem. They are just being lazy. if anything they can just pull off the speaker covers. But you probably wouldnt want lazy ass's like that working on ur car anyway.

meh got to expect this when driving a import or any modded car that matter. so whatever. ive stopped worrying about this kind of stuff a long time ago.
