  1. Sorry to hijack thread but.. Hi Boosted Zed, I think it was you guys who told me this about the bolts. But when I bought the tomei bolts I didnt get any nuts with them, should have I done?
  2. I was told recently that ARP dont accully make rod bolts for the RB26 and you can use the SR20 bolts, but I was advised against it because they a touch too short(or somthing like that) and to use the tomei ones. Which I got from greenline for about $160-180. This is what I was told when I went to purchase the ARP ones anyway. Hope that helps

  4. Hi, very interested in clutch, blitz boost controller, front and rear castor arms and silicon radiator hose, might be able to do a deal for the lot ???? Could you post or email me some pics? [email protected] Cheers
  5. I dont know what series it is for, but I dont think there is any difference anyhow
  6. the brand XSPOWER size of outlet is 2.5"ID made from stainless, good thick flanges & pipe, nice clean welds also. comes with gaskets also
  7. Yeah those tomei ones do use shims to lock the hicas, all that modual does is stop that warning light on your dash coming on and they are about $240 i think. My lock bar cost me about $60 and about 1/2 hour of my time to install, and I think I can put up with the little light for a saving of $180
  8. Hi guys, I have a brand new spit dump pipe f/s $180 to suit R33 GTS-t so im guessing it would probably fit an R32 and R34 also. Will post pics soon as I can PM me if interested
  9. Looks very different than most ive seen, did you get any gains from it, other than the easy access to the plugs? The larger throttle body would have made a difference wouldnt it?
  10. What about a Subaru Liberty B4, they are a twin turbo, 4wd with all the options. You can pick a 2003 model up for around $30-35,000
  11. Id be careful with that dude, anything over $1000AU or demmed to be worth over $1000 you will get charged GST, import duty, Goverment charges, custom fees .... the list goes on. You will probably end up paying more once you get them, unless you can get them to list the item as a Gift then you dont have to pay any charges (trick I got from using ebay ), but I dout you will be able to a big company like that to do it.
  12. ahh ok now I see were you where going with it, sorry misunderstood what u ment
  13. Can I just ask, why does he NEED head work done?
  14. yeah would like to see some pics of modded plenum. What boost were you running when it was running ruff, but I wouldnt think a standard turbo would make the injectors max out anyway??? unless you were running huge boost but then you'd be picking the exhaust wheel out of your dump pipe. I would be taking it to another turner anyway to get a second opinion anyway before you go buy a $1200 PFC or a $4000 motec
  15. Well what i would do is, when up first start it and its missing or running on one less cylinder go through and unplug each coil 1 by 1 untill you find which one is the trouble one. You'll be able to tell which one it is because when you unplug the faulty one it will do nothing but sound the same but the others will make it sound worse, then simply replace it with a good one. But if it is one of your coil packs, and you replace it, it wont be long and you'll have to replace them all I recon. So if you can aford it I would replace the lot with some splitfire ones(arond $650 if you shop about) or go for some seperate coils and run leads to your plugs eg: CDI type setup.
  16. Yeah there is getting to be a few about, but look how many early commodores n falons are about. Clubsports around that VT model are become a VERY common site now there pretty cheap, so are the new ones when you come to think of it . Go stand and your main street at peak hour and count how many late model Clubsports, R8's, and Monaro's etc go passed compaired to jap imports like 180sx, R32, R33 etc and bet u I know which hand u will run out of figers on first, and just think your say "1994 R33 GTS-t lightly modded" which owes you $25,000 max, could probably keep up with the new beaut $70,000+ LS2 297kw Clubsport and once you drive your new Clubsport off the showroom floor you have just lost $10,000 at least. So my point is, even though there might be quite a few about now there still pretty special and the only reason that there seems so many is because you have one. Its like anything you get, once you have it everyone seems to have one, or so you think.
  17. Does anyone know of anything like this being run in Victoria?
  18. There was one of those F/S in this forum
  19. That graph looks VERY like mine when I run it for the first time with that dip in around the same spot, I didnt a a PFC though just a MINES chipped ECU other mods about the same though. That dip in power (on my car) was from it running rich(a slite miss) and all we could do at the time(because I had no tunable computer) was change plug gaps from .8 to .7 and it gave a perfect power curve and took the top power too 201kw with a huge gain in midrage. So id be looking at your air/fuel ratio in that 4000rpm range and that might just take you to your 200kw your chasing.....
  20. 1. pretty sure RB26 rod is same length as RB25 2. Im getting Wiseco piston also, 86.5mm pistons give a about a 8.0-8.4/1 c/r depend on if you have had the block decked or not, and thats with a 1mm head gasket 3. what about it? 4. RB25 wiseco pistons are a flat top piston without vale pockets the info i have given you is from the wiseco web site, hopefully ive read it correctly so using a 87mm piston and a 1.2mm head gaket without getting the block decked 7.9/1 c/r sounds about right according to that info
