  1. Well I don't know the course but if you didn't dip into the 40s changing from street to semis and the fact it was your first time there, id be very surprised!
  2. That kind of service is pretty rare!
  3. Thanks for the reply, they sound like a great option!
  4. Looking at getting the e420d, on the website it seems the plugins come with base maps, but no mention of getting a base map on this one. Can you download these or is it fairly straight forward to set up without? Is it possible to still buy new plugs and terminals for the engine loom? or do you have to reuse the old ones when making a new full loom? cheers.
  5. Bit more expensive but they do camber aswell so probably worth it in my opinion, just need a decent way of measuring castor then
  6. Has anyone tried these? http://www.nengun.com/ikeya-formula/maple-a-one-gage I see one member in the build threads has them and says they are a good thing!
  7. So many good quality parts here! this is the first time i've seen Ikeya Formula Maple A-one gauges, did a search on them and not much came up, are they a good thing?
  8. What a beast! Whens it out on the track next? I've just moved to perth and havnt been to any track days yet.
  9. Problem with it in front of your radiator is it can cause coolant temp problems on the track. To solve air flow issues with it side mounted you can Swiss cheese the inner guard if your still running it
  10. Car has to shut down when switch is turned off for cams as far as I know, Duncan is more qualified to answer that though. If you cut the main ignition wire then it will shut the car off just like turning the key off
  11. Unusual, most of the time you can get the alternator to kick in by revving it hard enough even without the globe if it hasn't been sitting for too long and has held some residual magnetism. I would still recommend doing it with the actual positive feed to the alternator.
  12. Kill switch needs to cut the positive battery lead and the positive feed to the alternator, doesn't have to cut the ignition separately. Cutting the alternator warning light wire will only stop the alternator from exciting it won't stop it from charging while driving.
  13. When jangels tells girls he meets at the pub that he owns one of these they instantly put out.
  14. Some people just don't have time for 6-8 meals around work, for example I got called out yesterday before afternoon meal, was still lying in the mud til past dinner time, you can't just get up and say sorry mate just going to stop, wash myself and eat while the driver is sitting there waiting to go! I still got all my Macros in for that day though.
  15. You get hungry you just learn to deal with it, body effects or similar helps with appetite though, biggest meal of the day should be after training
  16. You forgot your prepub curls with closey?
  17. Strange, a mate pays for an engine then all of a sudden he can't contact paul when this build starts and an engine turns up in this car! what a coincidence.
  18. I'll be there! hopefully wont get rained off the track this time!
  19. very nice! i'd like that cage!
  20. Was a good day! shame about the header tank!
