It only peaks at about 6psi... last night it actually peaked at 4psi! But today its back to around 6psi... The vacume side of the boost gauge is also dropping... im not sure if that means anything in particular...

Hey guys... lately my car has really started loosing boost.... orginally it was running around 10psi or so on the gauge... now im down to around 6psi... The cars booked in for the mechanics next week but i was just wondering if anyone would be able to shed some light on some possible causes of this? I havnt changed anything on the car. Its basically stock with an exhaust and pod filters. Thanks

Hi.... Ive recently got an R32 GTR and was wondering if you guys notice a dramatic different in the power on say a 30 degree day vs a really cold night... On a hot day it seems very sluggish in comparison.... How much power would you estimate is lost on a very hot day vs a cold night... Thanks Ashley

Just to confirm with everyone..... If my Pod filters are the only intake mod on my car will Vicroads have any probs? I took the car to a RWC guy today and he said he doesnt have a prob with them but if the cops pull you over they can do you for them. He issues RWC all the time with pod filters..... although the last place i took the car said it needs a stock airbox. It just doesnt make sense that i can go get a legit RWC today and tommorow the cops can get me for cops... Anyway has anyone had any probs when taking the car to register it at Vicroads with PODS? As there going to pop the hood to look at VIN nos etc....

Where abouts are the engine nos on the RB26 anyway? I have no idea where they are.....

The car has actually been registered in Vic Before... its just the rego has run out. So in that case are Pods Legal? Everyone seems to have different thoughts regarding them.

Any ideas on where i could get one?

Im in need of an R32 GTR Standard Airbox.... Can anybody help me out with this or point me in the right direction? Does anyone know of any wreckers that will have this? thanks ashley

Thanks guys.... sounds like it shouldnt be a problem then. The car has previously been registered in VIC its just the reg has expired. My main concern was the rust underneath the car. Im guessing it would be very costly to repair. Im going to need to get a stock R32 GTR airbox as it currently has pod filters. Anyone know where i can source one of these in the South Eastern Suburbs? and how much is it likely to cost me? cheers Ashley

Hi Guys, I'm going to have to go to Vicroads soon to register my car.... currently its unregistered (r32 GTR). Now Ive heard Vicroads also inspects the car, even though you need to provide a RWC. How thorough are the inspections? Because i have a slight bit of rust underneath the car...... Hopefully a RWC shouldnt be a problem (I have friends in the trade) but im slightly concerned about Vicroads.... Anyone have any experiance or thoughts regarding this? Thanks for your help in advance.
