  1. Yea, we'd definitely need some moderators or something. I figure we could have comments on each result, so people could ask questions / make accusations etc I think the gearing thing would be very, very easy, i'd just need to find out what figure i need to mutilpy/divide by to get RPM. Have you guys thought of doing this before?
  2. Just wanted to clarify, it's all about performance. The current "garage" system is useless if i wanna get an idea for what mods are capable of what, or anything like that, and it's impossible to search on useful things (such as what turbo)
  3. Dude, I love this site. And we keep referring people to the dyno results threads when they ask for "what turbo" etc. I'm happy to code up a database where people can log their details about their cars properly, and then we can do searches based on what turbo, what power, etc and have rankings etc... If I was going to do something like this, would you like me to have it hosted on SAU, or do my own thing on a seperate server that you can then link to, or what? If we were going to do this, i'd love to open it up to suggestions from all members, so i can come up with the ultimate plan before we get started, maybe have a list of parts, and you can choose which ones you are using, so people can search for other members with certain mods. Thoughts?
  4. Hey guys, I've got all the usual bolt on's and a power FC. Had a KKR560 on there, but Gavin Wood couldn't get more than 250kw out of the car (these turbos are laggy but can do over 300kw) Just last week I had a GT3076 put on with a 0.82 housing. 50mm external gate on factory manifold. screamer pipe. adjustable cam gear. Car got tuned again by Gavin, got exactly the same power output of 250kw at 1.1bar Gav said that the engine isn't making more power with more timing or boost, and that it's probably because it's an old engine (1993) or a carbon buildup. Either way, only way to get more power is an engine rebuild. I know he's playing it safe, because i'm a customer and he doesn't want to blow up my car, but i'm just wondering, if i want to make the most of my 3076, what sort of rebuild do i need? Could I just do a stock RB30 bottom end, clean everything up while it's out, and put on my current head... or would i be forever kicking myself that i didn't spend thousands on all the good parts while the engine is out? I'm just looking for 300kw for 99% street driving.
  5. Hey guys, just posting up in case it helps anybody in future. I put the 25mm spacers on the back. Car looks sooo much better now, like the way it's supposed to be, rather than inset wheels (i have 18x8 +30). I didn't even realise it, but my wheel had heaps of space for the studs between each mounting point, so i could even run like 10mm bolt on spacers and with 15mm of stud protruding, it wouldn't be a problem. So if anybody else is thinking of doing this, check your wheels like was mentioned in this thread
  6. Hi, are the lanyards still available? I'd love to grab a couple
  7. +1
  8. 1993 R33 GTS-T Automatic converted to manual, still automatic diff (4.363 instead of 4.11) Power FC ECU with Nissan S15 440cc injectors and Z32 AFM Front Mount Cooler, 3" turbo back exhaust, Bosch 040 intank. Previous turbo was a KKR560, just swapped to a Garrett GT3076 56T with 0.82 housing and a 50mm external gate on factory manifold. Feels so much better to drive now 250KW at 1.1bar (16psi)
  9. I'm feeling the same way I originally asked for heelpad on drivers mat, and then I changed to no heel pad... just confirming i'd prefer no heelpad
  10. Id love a quote on rear seats to Helensvale qld 4211
  11. I had a similar problem when I converted my auto r33 to manual. Fixed it by going manual ecu, so don't discount ecu just yet
  12. I'm happy to report. Seems kind of sus not hearing in so long without any comment from him saying he's goin away. And no mob number I'm happy to wait it out if that's the group decision
  13. If you were thinking of a GT3076 and wanted something in between .06 and 0.8 for a mix of response and power, would a 3071 in a 0.8 housing fit the bill? Pretty sure there were dyno results recently posted that had 270kw and really good response?
  14. Wouldn't twin GT2860RS be a much better option?
  15. what brand are the spacers, and do you have any pics?
  16. what brand are the 25mm bolt on spacers? and do you have any pics of them? Isaac
  17. Would this work on a R33 GTST PFC?
  18. Hi guys, I've done a search but can't find what i'm looking for... I wanna space my rear wheels out 20 or 30mm. I don't wanna cut the factory studs, coz i'll eventually get some sweeet wheels and not need spacers anymore. Can I use 25mm spacers and not have to cut studs? If that's no good, would 30mm work? I'm going to get them from Just Jap, unless you guys have a better recommendation?
  19. I've got some series 2 ones in perfect condition that i haven't put on my car yet. I'd want like $600 for them though. The ones in my car at the moment look perfect from the outside, but have a few broken mounts (hence why i bought the new ones) i'd probably sell those for like $300. PM if interested
  20. I'll take it, son. Can u pm me yo bank details please <3
  21. So how many people have paid? I'm one
  22. That would only work if you had a single scroll manifold with a twinscroll turbine housing, right?
  23. What's the advantage of a 52trim instead of the usual 56 trim? I just bought one that was a 56 trim. I'm guessing the 52 trim has slightly less flow so it's slightly less laggy?
  24. I rang up caltex on smith street a few weeks ago to see if they had E85. They said that currently only worrongory has it. I asked if he knew if any others were getting it but he didn't have a clue.
