  1. ETS is the Electronic Torque Split i.e ATESSA-ETS. Sounds like its something to do with that...
  2. Mmm, 36s at Winton would be nice, I've been there a lot more than Sandown and the best i've been able to crank out is a high 38 so far...
  3. Hahah guess I must be a bit of a nut too then I reckon there's another half a second or so in it at least, I haven't had a good run out of VB or the last corner yet and there are a couple of places I reckon I can pick up the throttle a little bit earlier. More practice needed! I'm putting the current rubber through one more trackday at Winton this weekend and then I'll look into replacing them, I'm liking the R888s because they're so consistent even when they're so worn but then they're the only semi I've driven on so they would feel pretty good.
  4. Hahah yeah I work with Peter and found out about it that way. Yep still running standard turbos, it's pretty much untouched mods wise except for a catch can I had to add last year when the return line let go at Sandown. About the only other change is I'm running it on a very rooted set of Toyo R888s I got off Snowy last year, time for a new set soon.
  5. I've been doing track days in the GT-R for about a year now but Sunday was the first time at sandown with the car 100% and the weather good. Jack, I think you may remember my car from when Peter Christopher owned it, he mentioned your name when I bought it. Cheers
  6. what a great day, thanks to all the organisers and officials!! finally had a good day at Sandown, went there hoping to crack the 1'25s and walked away with a 1'22.5 so I'm over the moon! BBGTR, what's the data logger and software you're using there, that readout is great!!!
  7. I've had SportsRyder in two cars and I've been really happy with it. Got Bilstein under the GT-R though. I wouldn't have any hesitation putting Pedders under a skyline, as long as the outlet is knowledgable and knows how to get the setup right.
  8. i just put a SARD in tank pump into mine, fairly chuffed with it so far
  9. I got my winton entry form in the mail just the other day, i was going to send u a copy but it's the week after sandown.... I think the next one is two weeks before the Calder Park round in early september...
  10. not up to it? Faxed and paid, GT-R is actually running right for the first time in a while, no misfires, no boost drop off and fresh front brake discs, might actually get a decent Sandown run, touch wood. Now to pray for no rain....
  11. gah, I'm hanging to do one of these days but haven't been able to make it work yet. later this year for sure!!
  12. Gah silly argument. GT-Rs and GTS-ts are so different in terms of weight and philosophy! Jack's right about just getting out there and having fun. Still I'm only down to a 1:26.6 at sandown with 245rwkw reduced by some very average misfiring coil packs. I'm waiting for a drama free run, I can't seem to get one at sandown.
  13. Well done Snowy & Dan, big congrats!!
  14. I'm in, faxed No to make sure we get the new fuel pump from sydney and in the car in time... should be right!

  17. hmm, should look great on a Silver 33 GT-R, i'll probably be in for some 18x9.5s but I'll send u a pm closer to march cheers
  18. wasn't it the series II and III that came with the rear wiper and the series I without?
  19. Now that is the sex. And that Ultimate Opal looks just a little bit like a dark midnight purple!! Except Nissan got it wrong! It's meant to be V-Spec, not SpecV!! as evidenced:
  20. WIN!! "IT'S Legal, go for it!!"
  21. maybe you're just copping some really hard asshole testers. I know several people who've passed their tests first time out recently in Horsham and Warracknabeal (north west victoria) maybe you should just try another town. But shit, anything is better than what they had before. When I went for my test I just drove around Horsham for a while chatting to the tester and we were nearly back to the VicRoads office before he said "Shit we haven't done a low speed, there's an angle park, pull up there." Hmm, Western Victoria, Skyline GTS, just failed license test.... You wouldn't happen to know Clint with the MX-5 would you?
  22. has anyone seen a torrent of this? I'd love to add it to the archive....
