  1. DAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMM thats some insane stretching, i wonder how long it would last though, hit a big pot hole and WHACK!
  2. No worries at all, i have 265 on 9.5 inch wheel and its absolutely fine, not stretched or anything.
  3. What colour are the side skirts???
  4. Bumpy, no one got a car cigarette lighter for my R33 sitting around, or know where i can get one???
  5. Check here for Brake Pads guide, everyone gives their opinions on a large range of pads: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Br...gs-t169972.html You might also want to look into some Braided Break Lines, there is some for sale in the GROUP BUY section. And maybe a brake master cylinder stopper to give the pedal a firmer feel. Along with some better fluid, this will help you car pull up time and time again. Cheers.
  6. Gday, seem to have lost my cigarette lighter, even though i dont smoke, must have popped out somewhere, anyone got a spare one lying around i can purchase for a few bucks? Thanks, Andrew
  7. Best to put this in the WANTED TO BUY section mate, this is the FOR SALE section. Cheers.
  8. Good price mate, these should move very quickly! Get in quick people!
  9. All I hear is good things about UNIGROUP, looks like my car will be heading there very soon indeed. Thanks fellas!
  10. Gday Andrew, Best bet would be to search on this section. There are literally hundreds of tips and pointers of what to do first. Things like you Budget and Availability of parts will be a big factor. PLenty of guys here started with stock cars, like yours, and then slowly added parts (myself included). The SEARCH button is your friend. Good luck.
  11. I know this thread is a few months old, but did you guys get your problems fixed by guilt-toy??? I am in the same boat here, engine does not have any problems on the dyno, but on the street its not very friendly with my engine light flashing from 6000rpm onwards. Car just been "re-tuned to clean it up" as they said, still SAME THING happening. Bummer. keen to get this problem fixed soon!!! Any tips or help would be greatly appreciated, thanks Andrew
  12. Some GTR seats i stumbled across on EBAY: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Nissan-Skyline-GTR-...p3286.m20.l1116 Also can i suggest putting a more descriptive headline on your WANTED ad, if you put "WANTED GTR SEATS" someone might quickly glance at it and know someone who has some. Just a tip that has helped me in the past. Cheers.
  13. Hi Jodie, this ad belongs in the other for sale section for CARS, not CAR PARTS. Good luck with the sale.
  14. Bump, still here taking up space.
  15. Hi Taso, I got one of these, it has pictures half way down the page: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Gr...34-t243043.html The group buy is not running anymore, however i think there are still some guys out there who make them. The above one works a treat, super cheap and gets the job done. hope that helps. Andrew
  16. Mick has some GTR seats on Gold Coast here, scroll down his ad to see he has the seats listed near the bottom: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Co...ng-t261603.html Hope that helps.
  17. Good thread Michael, i will be watching this one as i will be looking an an upgraded turbo quite soon. But as there are so many options its tough to decide..... But as lots of people say on here, do it once, do it right. So thinking of getting a turbo that is not MAXXED out, just for piece of mind.
  18. Gday Nigel, how you doing mate? Some fella is selling a Neo Turbo here http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R3...bo-t259303.html
  19. I have the RB74 pads on my R33 too, awesome pads for street and track, always pull up. The rear ones are super noisy around town, so i put stock pads in the rear while driving around town. I tried so many different pads in the rear of my car, all were super noisy but stock ones (long story HAHAH). Brake master cylinder stopper is a cheap and easy way to improve pedal feel.
  20. If you intend on doing 5 track days a year (same as what i do), you will need some better brake fluid too. Otherwise you will boil your brake fluid after each hot lap session at the track. I strongly recommend some MOTUL RBF 600. its cheap at around $30 a bottle. Running slotted discs on the front and standard rears will be fine, as the front brakes take a good pounding at the track. Also bear in mind that some types of Track Orientated pads will be a bit noisy on the street, squealing and squeaking when coming to a stop. This can drive some people slightly crazy, but others dont seem to mind it. Good luck and enjoy.
  21. No worries at all. Daniel is fantastic to deal with, he certainly knows his stuff. You wont be disappointed with the Bilsteins thats for sure. Good luck.
  22. Howdy, you can still get the Bilsteins from Daniel at Elite Racing, check out the link below to SAU QLD: http://www.sauqld.com/ipb/index.php?showtopic=809 If link does not work you may need to register and then click the link. he uses King Springs, but you can buy the Whiteline springs yourself through Whiteline direct if you need to. Hope that helps.
  23. its heart-breaking stuff mate. Seeing a car as good as yours and not a single bite. Its just plain crazy. All the best with the sale mate, hope you can move it quickly without suffering too much on price.
