i think you guys are missing a major factor... OFFSET... if its 19x10 +40 not going to fit 19X10 -10 going to need some gaurd work...

you forgot to add, while the oil is being/has drained remove and replace oil filter! note when u change oil filter make sure you put oil In the filter before hand, by adding oil to the filter and letting it soak in then adding more till its half full of oil, ALSO make sure you put oil on the rubber O ring this will help the filter ring slide on instead of grabbing and breaking the O ring!! in sayng that i hope you have redone the oil change (including filter) not just drain a bit out!

limiter launch ftw but still use the handbrake, ive seen a few breakages from just dropping clutch, when using the handbrake u take any 'slack' out of your driveline, also helps u come onto boost before launching, so as said before line up, pull on handbrake keeping hand on the handbrake slowly rev and release clutch till you feel it start to bite, then foot flat drop handbrake n clutch!!

black smoke out the rear when u put foot flat? turbo may hve died now just flooding itself? or maybe even fuel pump died?

for that 2200 you could find a new fuel pump, grab some s/h bigger inj, even gtr inj? bigger turbo, stainless manifold, and a remap!!! got to remember bud, mates rates dont help that much now the aussie dollar has dropped, a gtr that cost maybe 8K over there 6 months ago will now cost you 12-14K

so how did you go? also that wiring for the pump looks a bit sketchy

heya guys, im new to the gtr scene, (not the car scene had my 33 about 8 years ago and have had a few rides since then) but im looking for a GTR at the moment, either find something with a built engine or hunt for a cheaper gtr and get a engine built. now ive seen a few built down here with no real oil restriction and with a bit of research ive noticed the oil starvation is a major prob for the 26 so any help directed to me would be appreaciated whats the price list on the parts put up on the first page what parts are recommended? asin pistons (including size) rods ect i was looking more towards the CP piston with eagle or corrilo rods i think its a oil restrictor, head to sump drain, n1 pump and sump baffle are the main helpers? DIRTgarage what kind o coin is needed for you to build a engine for me? i migth go speak to the guys at willall racing down here see what they recommend Cheers, Danny

pull the plugs out and gap them down to .6 - .65 try that and let me know how you go, contcact clean all leads plugs while its apart
